Could Romo be gun shy?

The last game he played in 2015..he looked timid before being reinjured. He was throwing picks and trying not to get hit. He wasn't ready to come back and that probably factored into it.

This isn't a knock or meant in a bad way towards Tony.

Isn't it possible after the last couple of seasons, with all the injuries Romo has suffered, could it possibly lead him to be somewhat gun shy? These injuries have been pretty painful to endure, I don't think he can stand in there knowing a big hit is coming and just ignore what he's been through....and not affect his decision making.

Most people think that Tony...once healthy, can just pickup where he left off, what say you?
He's been that way before and wasn't good at all when he was. The line is looking like it won't let him be all that exposed so while I'm worried about, I'm not that worried. I'm more worried that time itself and lack of playing might manifest itself in too-slow play. His mind might still be sharp but his body might not be capable of responding anymore.

Gotta Love the Pile on Romo that has gone on in this place. I can't wait to see all of the butt hurt when Romo is back as the starter.
or the butt hurt when he is injured again. It's just a matter of time.

I wonder about this. In the preseason game he got hurt running when pressure wasn't there yet.

that's not at all how I remember the play. There was definitely pressure. But his movement on the play was certainly different than the young Tony Romo. He was stiffer and slower... and that possibly contributed to the injury occurring.
