Definitely matters, if he was given a 2nd round tender we have to give up the pick to sign him if they don't match our offer sheet, which is a little hefty for him in my opinion. If you're simply saying that it doesn't matter because they'll likely match any offer, please disregard response.

I'll disregard since that's my point. It isn't difficult to sign an unproven player like Mayowa away from a team, but getting Thielen away from Minnesota wouldn't be cheap.

Naw, the author made good sense as to the why's of a consideration...but carry on.

I didn't need to read it to know Dallas isn't giving up picks and a large contract to any restricted free agents. They value picks too much and don't have the money to sign a player like him. That's all I needed to know.

There are chances for both situations at present...and including trades of players.
