Martin, Zeke, and Smith have something Dak will never acquire.................. Talent.
Yes, you need that when you decide to Hold out.
Laugh as Dak will NEVER hold out...........Ever!!!
Conversation was about CD.

Dak is happy to play out his contract and be free.

Comp picks are not a bad thing, but you’ve gotta stop taking dudes like Nashon Wright and Matt Waletzko….ya know, guys that can’t play.
We know Wright can't. We don't know about Waletzko.

Don't forget Dak was a comp pick also.

The overall point is that comp picks are nice to get, but the mid round picks have been awful in the last few drafts and it’s why they are in the position they are in with more holes than means to fill them.

The nfl fine for those on their 5th year option is now $50k a day (camp). NFL teams can no longer waive the fines after the signed deal so a player and his agent would be dumb to try.
No this isn't correct. If the holdout happens on a rookie deal it can be 100% be forgiven.

The new no more waving fines rule is for people that are past their rookie contracts, aka what happened to Martin.

Even in Martin's case if your an elite level player it still worth eating the fines. Like if you get a million dollars in fines that you have to pay but the end result of the holdout is you getting an extra 20 to 30 million guaranteed that you did not have going into the season then that's 100% worth it.

Complaining about eating a fine when the end result is much better for you is what we call Penny smart dollar dumb.

No reason to hold out during camp and give you potential replacement extra reps. Take all the reps and then hold out the week before.

It would be embarrassing to lose a top 10 QB for basically a 4th round pick. However, half our fans seem to be on board with it and we don't even have a legit replacement in place.
Getting a 3rd comp is better than resigning him, I would also trade CD before camp
