ironically if we kept zimmer we wouldnt be having this many issues
3 schemes in 3 years, and yet so far ive only seen improvement with zimmer as the year went on (so far anyway, but im seeing the same issues as last year)

You make a great point. I haven't read on this forum very often about the fact that Eberflus did take the job believing he'd have Parsons. He does deserve for that to be recognized at least to be fair.
HIS not making adjustments though is on him.
Sanborn played for him in CHI and was brought in by him specifically because he knew his D.

The adjustment thingie is so overplayed by fans.

Baltimore has a great defense and gave up 31. Should have been 38 if not for Dak.

The defense was good enough to have the game easily winnable on the two yard line with a first down, 30 seconds, and a time out.

The offense was fully responsible for the loss.

It absolutely was. They made several big plays. Last year's defense rarely ever made a play.

This defense at least has a pulse with the upside to improve.

You have to win games like today as the defense comes along.

That time is up. 3 games and theyre still getting burned the same ways. Nothings changing.

i havent seen any stunts from the Dline or creative blitzes from CP. his D is so predictable and thats the main reason for the low number of pressures and sacks

last year Eberflus D was historically bad. he was screwed when they traded Parsons, but Eberflus never made any adjustments. just let the same problems happen over and over again. he had some of the worst players, like K Murray, Sanborn, so he has some excuse.

but this year, CP had a big say in which players they got for his D so its surprising this D is actually worse. CP is playing players in positions they have never played before and you can see them struggling badly. why are our DEs covering TEs and RBs, playing zone? why is Downs playing slot and chasing WRs instead of playing the ball in front of him? what the hell is Winters doing? he is actually K Murray in a new uniform? why is Bell on the team?

teams are still running like all over the field at will and DBs and S playing way off. there are so many holes in CPs zone D.

I think it's just the atmosphere and culture of this team, there's no way these players are this bad on other teams
