Could we get Quinn?

He has not played as well this year= though certainly some of that is due to an underperforming O line (sound familiar=but he is a lot more mobile then DB is). He might not be the first player drafted, though probably still the first QB taken. Either the Raiders or the packers or the Texans will probably have the first 3 picks in some order= none of them will take a QB. The Bills, Titans who could be there along with maybe Miami are all teams not likely to take a QB. So Quinn might last untill 6 or 7. We will probably be drafting in the 20's. Just how hard would it be to trade up? I would be willing to the 2007 and 2008 first rd picks to do it.

I would stay away from him only because of his high expectations.

Id rather take someone slightly under the radar. JMHO

Like Q was? Lets face it- going high for a QB is the only plan that has more then a remote chance of working. we have tried the cheap and easy way too many times.

Quinn isn't living up to his own hype this year. I'll pass. He'll be a good quarterback, but he is way overhyped. Somebody will want to give up a ton to get him... more than the Cowboys should.

I've said this for three years. The best QB to come out of that class is going to end up being Chris Leak.

Mike(32) or Jonathon(31)? Mike has already played for Dallas so he would be familiar with the area. Plus they are both a little too young for Parcells.

Leak is another in a long line of QB's coming out of Florida schools that will never amount to anything in the NFL.

Hell no, I can't remember a player who got the national media attention he has and performed as poorly

Is his dad Danny Ainge?

Oh, and I'd take Quinn in a NY minute. But he's going to go overall #1. Price too high.

As long as Dummy remains the starter at QB this year, our chances of getting Quinn increases weekly.

Not sure if Henne will come out this year or not, but his freshman year was good, sophomore was pretty bad but this year he has been playing really well so far. I would like to see how he plays against Ohio before I am fully convinced of him again.

He had lot of accuracy issues last year that he seems to have overcome this year. I think Henne would be ideal BP type of QB, and probably could be had easily in high 2nd round. Last year I would have thought he wouldn't be better than 5th round at best.

But Henne has much better supporting cast than Quinn has to be fair.

He's had one bad game.(If you want to call it that. He still had 3 TD's)

One.

And McGee better start throwing TD's or we'll get our arses kicked this weekend

Only way Brady slips for us to have even a shot at trading up for him is if he has a complete meltdown at the combines.

Not happening.

What sort of season is Carson Palmer's kid bro having?

I know he's struggled w/ consistency in the past, but he also doesn't have the same supporting cast as a Brady, Leak, or Ainge.

Is he really that inferior to Carson? Could he be a worthwhile project for a middle round pick?

Opinions?

Have any played baseball? Stay away if so. :laugh1:

How about Troy Smith, he may be only 6-1 but he makes plays. No one mentioned him yet. And he may slip to where we may pick. Why he may slip, I have absolutely no idea, maybe becasue he does not have the prototypical size.
