Last year in far more game action than Wilson, Wilber had 24 tackles. Wilson had 14 and that was while being sent out there in the 4th in games were were already behind on, so he was seeing a lot of runs.

The same trend seems to be playing out this year, with Wilber getting far more playing time but having less to show for it than the newer guy so if the coaches want to put him out there more and see if he can be more productive, I'm all for it.
I noticed Wilson got some playing time a few game ago when the Cowboys were up quite a bit on the scoreboard.

That put Wilson in the Nickel because the other team was obviously passing in an attempt to catch up on the scoreboard.

It would be interesting if he is better in coverage than in run fits. Most young LBs play the run better than the pass, especially guys with his build (250ish).

OK talking about LB's, I'll ask this and apologies up front since the answer is probably all over the Zone.
McClain is out for 14 game suspension. Purely hypothetical and not banking on his presence much less him being in any kind of shape however after our 14th game of this season, theoretically he could play, correct? Or is he off the team? If he was in game shape, is there any contractual reasons we would not want him on the field? Just curious so I can put that one to bed.

Theoretically, yes. In reality, he'll never play again for Dallas, and likely never put on pads in the NFL.

The Cowboys won't do anything as long as he's suspended for salary cap purposes. If he's cut, he counts against the cap. If they wait until week 15 to cut him, only 2/17ths of his annual salary counts against the cap (if I understand things correctly).

That all being said, why in the world would anyone want him back on the team (I'm not implying that you do, BTW)? It's laughable to think he'll be anywhere near in shape and prepared to play. He's also the most undependable player on the team (or maybe he's tied with Randy Gregory). It's my opinion and my opinion only, but I think he's gone as a soon as he comes off his suspension.

If Lee got hurt and Durant or Hitchens were also injured the crys to cut McClain might become somewhat more muffled.

It's unlikely he comes off the suspension. The NFL continues to test guys suspended. (they are still in the program) Ro walked away from the team. It is unlikely he's been cooperating with the nfl. That is why he does not have a locker anymore. He's done.

Man we have a deep rotation at DT. It's hard for Irving to get reps. Oh well, one of those DTs will be gone after this year.

Over the past several years I have come to the conclusion that the coaches and scouts intentionally feed him misinformation. His predictions are godawful about what the club is going to do but he always acts like he has inside information. I don't think he is a liar and that is what I have left.

In the last two weeks he has started this thing where he is hinting that Romo is ruining the offensive play calls. He doesn't have the guts I guess to say it outright so he keeps hiding in the Linehan loves dak because dak doesn't change his plays. He even asked garrett about that today in the pc.

I am not sure why he has gone down this road all of a sudden but its interesting because he has always disliked garrett and his offense.

The whole thing makes no sense.
