Cowboy deny Bears interview request

agree. I dont think even jerry would pull such a stunt. Im sure they are ironing out a few smaller details.
Jerry says he regrets firing Gailey but that last season was pretty ridiculous. We only won on the road opening day against washington. We would always win the first half and lose the second one. You saw it coming every single road game. Woodson also said he hated seeing him leave but I think he needed to be fired.

Does any of this matter at all?

If Mike was under contract until the beginning of the league year in mid-March, yeah he may have a problem, but we are talking about next Tuesday.

Is every top candidate going to be hired, as well as every HC vacancy filled before then?? There may not even be an interview conducted before then from any coordinator on a playoff team.

If that doesn’t tell you McCarthy is coming back nothing will. No way would they deny a request for him to interview with another team if they weren’t working on a deal to bring him back.

4 more years of Mike telling Dak to "sling it" like he's prime Rodgers or Favre. Great.

Will Zim be back too?
He seems too old for the happy swinging NFL of today, his blitzes almost never work.

Will Jerry force a new OC on Mike?
After last season I almost wish he does.

What happened to Jerry talking about retaining Dan Quinn as a replacement for MM?
Why waste a year - risking the team disrespecting a lame duck coach - if ultimately you were going to resign him?
What did you see over this season that spoke favorably to MM? The development of Tolbert?!? The "emergence" of Rico Dowdle?

This is all about Jerry FEELING comfortable. Unable to empathize with others, he's demanding that us Cowboys fan empathize with him. Classic, authentic narcissist.

Well I believe like others this was a move influenced by Yee to get them to make moves before the 14th. Which could be why it’s going back and forth like that

What moves tho? they either want him back or they don’t, he either wants to be back or he doesn’t.

It only matter because it may show intention.

If Jerry was planning to move on he'd have no reason to deny MM.

By no means does that make it a done deal. This is the same management that screwed Rush out of 250k.

To put media pressure on Dallas, to tip there hand so they could feel pressure to make their decision before the 14th vs wait it out. Negotiation leveraging. Jerry might want him back at his cost, and MM might not want to. Chicago interview might increase demand which might increase his price tag.

What's on the coaches is BENCHING the players that commit the stupid pre snap penalties. McCarthy just looks at them and mumbles. False Start Ferguson should be benched for a quarter every time he jumps. Undisciplined idiot.
You would lose your mind if players got benched for penalties and we lost the game.

Just stop
