:laugh2: the whole bouldin and not boldin really makes me question the authenticity. Philly has a lot more to offer but I agree that they are not big on spending money to get quality. More of just screwing and taking as much as they can from players. I would imagine Boldin wants to play for Dallas. However if I'm the Cards I stick to my guns and let nothing happen.

As another poster stated, if Boldin is indeed on the trading block, the Eagles have twice the 1st round picks we do and a decent corner to throw in the deal. Throw in the fact that their ENTIRE WR corps sucks, and I think we have a winner in Philly.

i agree i dont want to give up too much for boldin, but willing to give a 1st and 4th or 2nd and 4th, something like that

i talked to smoaky on the air, and he said first lets look at the going price
jason taylor was traded for a 2nd and 6th, 2nd could turn into a 1st
shockey was traced for a 2nd and 5th;

so smoaky by no means said he was a judge on trades, but thinking by value in trades, you start out with that, then if other teams like eagles get interested the price goes up

no way do i want to trade jenkins either, he will be a young and upcoming cb when newman and henry will be too old to play

i really dont want to trade any player either, because that way they dont know too much about our offense or defense and we will have boldin that can help us on some of their plays, plus boldin will be ticked off the way the cardianals managment treated him

Who ever trades for Boldin, is going to want to resign him and he wants a new contract (just not with Arizona). So he'll have some say in where he lands which might benefit us in a bidding war.

Good point-the Eagles are still trying to find a way to appease Westbrook. Considering the cheap-minded philosophy they are, I can't imagine them trying to appease BOTH Westbrook and Boldin.

well we have an extra 3rd and 4th to throw in not to mention anthony henry or roy williams or greg ellis....i wouldnt mind us trading our #1 and roy williams for boldin...seriously...he is worth it...and roy sucks....you could package our 2nd and 3rd and something else to move up to get our 1st back and we would still have our own 3rd
