Cowboy fans: Where are you from?

I've spent A LOT of time posting at the Ranch, but I really can't deal with some of the "fans" in there any more.

Well, since it was my post that you're referring to, and my claim that 90% of Dallas' fanbase lives outside of Dallas, I'm feeling pretty redeemed by the results of this poll so far. :grin2:

In reading through the thread, I think if you added a choice of "MD/VA/DC" it would outpace those who live in Dallas.

As for me... Leesburg, Virginia.

Well yeah, your post was the inspiration. Thought I'd put it to the test.

And on a side note, I know what post WG is referring too and the poster probably should have said 90% of the fans on this board.

I'm sure there are quite a few more Dallas-area members that don't post, but check in daily.

But I also think alot of fans in the DFW area kinda take 'boys news for granted, so the likelihood of seeking out a messageboard for it is kinda slim. 'Boys info is so readily available up there. that I don't know whether I'd go online looking for news either.

Born in Arlington, TX. Moved to San Antonio and lived there most of my life. Currently in Chapel Hill, NC. No complaints.

One note about this poll, though. I am inclined to think that you will get a disporportionate amount of "out-of-towners" on a message board. Locals have the benefit of getting their team news fix in the local paper, local newscasts, etc. There are many more people around that want to talk Cowboys there, too...I have to get my talking Cowboys fix by coming here.

On the other hand, I don't visit UNC message boards nearly as much as this one because I hear and talk about them all the time anyway.

whats the point? How many people who live in this area and have season tickets dont post on message boards, or this particular one.

It is not a reflection on whether or not there are more fans in the area then out.
