Interesting comments from Jean Jacques-Taylor today about the players opinions of the Dak-Romo situation. He interviewed several players, including the team leaders....Witten, Scandrick, Dez, Church, Lee, etc.

To a man, they all said they said Romo is the better QB right now. They pointed out that early in the San Fran game, there were adjustments that Dak couldn't make at the line of scrimmage that Romo could have checked out of quickly. They said that when Bowman got hurt, everything changed.

Understand, they all LOVE what Dak is doing, but they say point blank that Romo gives them the best chance to be a dynamic offense right now. He said even Dak knows and understands this well. He wants to learn from Romo and bends his ear all the time.

Then there's the fans......

Tony has always been the man and no young buck after 4 wins will change that. Heck, we all BEGGED for 4 wins last year so tony had something to come back to.

Of course he's better. Or at least THIS year, the team's ceiling is higher.

Look, by all accounts in all of pre-season prior to the injury, Tony way better. Every single day.

I think the question for some is do they want to slow down the momentum or progress for Dak.
I get that.
But Dak isn't going anywhere and he seems, like Romo, to also have thick skin. He Romo doesn't have it for whatever reason, Dak's time comes a little sooner.
Of course, he flat out lights up Green Bay's vulnerable secondary, maybe a few more want him to stay in there.
I hope he torches them.
5-1 would be pretty sweet.

What are they supposed to say? None of these players have won ANYTHING with the Cowboys so why should take the opinions of career losers anyway? Again, time to cut the dead weight and time to get on the winning track.

Youth movement is here, and nothing old vets can do about it.

Thankfully, your opinion doesn't mean anything in the real decision, and never will.

This is true, what player would be bold enough to say Dak should be the starter, when they know that would get them in hot water?

But I figure after the bye they start tony, so the whole debate is moot.
Then we will see how it goes with tony.

I get to see one more game with Dak, so hopefully he can win it , but GB is tough in lambeau.
Even tony cant win there.....well once in 2008 dallas won

Here is the great Romo record with GB 2013 no Rodgers.
GB has won the last 5 games, so if Dak were to beat GB with a healthy rodgers, what should dallas do ?? well bench him of course !
How dare he win in GB ~!! of all the nerve, should be fined too. ( I know he hasnt won yet, and GB may make it 6 in a row.)

So can those who say Romo is the better QB
can explain the 3 romo losses ??
If dak wins that says something to me, I dont know about the rest of you.
But he still has to win.
But if you look at this, odds are dallas should lose again, since it is in GB.

This is the Dak SB, lol if he loses, he goes to the bench for sure,
if he wins close one, and just plays ok, he goes to the bench lol
If he can win convincingly, then maybe he gets another game,
but more than likely even if he wins 28-0........he goes to the bench .

Looks very much like Romo's playoff record... The VERY few times he has actually made it there. Career loser with the body of "40-41 year old" in Shannon's words.

yeah I edited that in. Romo has been in 3 of the last 5 losses in a row to GB.
He has only beat GB once in 2008 I think he did play in that game, not sure, I know he hurt his finger that year.

lol

here we go with tennis and golf again.

it's a team game. You almost should lose your fan card--or at least football card--for not regularly observing that fact.

The Dallas Cowboys have one win at Lambeau and the QB in that game was Romo.
But HE didn't get the win, the team did.

If you look at the list of players asked, you can see why the answer was so clear cut.
Maybe 4-5 of the young pups might lean the other way...who knows.
Though even Zeke might love not facing so many in the box all the time.
