Nobody's going to call out Romo...not even Dak. Don't know what people expect Cowboy players to say? If they did call him out I'd be worried.

More dynamic, long completions AND interceptions. Don't think you're getting the first without the other. I'm not saying Dak would never throw a INT but Romo is clearly more susceptible to throw multiple INTs in one game. Romo will probably cost us another playoff game, it's who he is. We'll never know what we could have had this season with Dak. It may be the same thing for the next 3 seasons too due to Romo's contract that runs through 2019.

lol

here we go with tennis and golf again.

it's a team game. You almost should lose your fan card--or at least football card--for not regularly observing that fact.

The Dallas Cowboys have one win at Lambeau and the QB in that game was Romo.
But HE didn't get the win, the team did.
Sure it is , I am not saying it is all tonys fault, but he is the leader of the offense, and what I see with GB is a trend, not just one
occurrence.

What I see with dak is that he energizes the whole team, and he is consistent, and doesnt turn it over, just the one fumble lost.
Those things make a difference in close games between winning and losing.

That is why I would love to see dak get this season, to see if they can keep winning, and whatever happens they can go
back to tony next year. It surely wouldnt hurt anything.

I think some think you can put tony back in and he will be magic tony and go to SB, but it wont happen , tony hasnt played
enough , he needs time to get back in a groove, and even then he has never been very good in playoffs, so I dont see
a SB run with tony this year.

Cowboys are going to playoffs, Daks 4-1 start makes playoffs fairly easy, but playoffs are a whole different thing.
I think we need to be top seed, or at least 2nd seed to have a shot.

They cant, no matter what they really think.
The few times any player on any team says what he reallly thinks, they get in trouble.
So no one is going to say what they really think, unless it is in line with what jerry and jg think.

That is the worst part ! once they pull him for Romo it is over, done.
I would love to see just dak this year, and then next year give it back to tony.
going 1/2 and 1/2 is stupid and wont get them a SB, in fact pulling Dak while he is on a roll, may just cost them a potential SB.

The Rams rode warner to a SB win
Patriots rode a then bus driver Brady to a SB win
Ravens rode a old dilfer to a SB, mock him, but he didnt turn it over and did enough to win
There are others, sometimes a team and QB get hot, and the smart thing to do is just ride it.!!

This whole lets change QB's even though the one who is in, is winning every game is just insane.

I think if Dallas loses to GB, even if close, it will please many of the pro romo fans on this site ??

I am more invested in this next game than I have been since probably 2009.
I hope they win, but will really bum me out if they lose.
But at same time I know it really doesnt matter, cause dak is going to the bench not matter if they win or lose.
It is crazy, but that is the jerry jones cowboys.

People have looked at Jerry Jones as a complete moron since he ran off Coach Johnson. Watch them pull Dak at 4-2 or 5-1 with 80% of the fans wanting Dak now, just to watch Romo run this season into the ground like he has whole career... The meltdown is going to be epic.

I want the Cowboys to win it all, but also im not delusional and I KNOW Dak is our only chance at it.

I agree, I don't know why anyone would expect any member of the current team, to say they would rather have Dak playing quarterback. They would just be setting up themselves for a lot of scrutiny and ridicule. Now as far players that are no longer playing in the league, several have already said Dak should keep the job, as long as he is playing satisfactorily.

Looks very much like Romo's playoff record... The VERY few times he has actually made it there. Career loser with the body of "40-41 year old" in Shannon's words.
Because every team and roster is the same every year, of course.

Lol, good gawd.

Except mine is in line with what real football people really do.
Terry Bradshaw, Brett Favre, Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, Deion Sanders, and believe me there are MANY more unbiased sources saying they would stick with Dak. Recognize any of those football names? Or do they not count?

A bunch of players who never made a decision, and an overrated coach who rode Peyton's coattails.

Ask Jimmy Johnson.

I truly hope Romo comes back and plays his best football of his career. I want this for a couple reasons, 1- We win. 2. Pay very close attention to #1. 3- Dak has enough quality snaps this season for us and the FO to know we got our future franchise guy. 4- Dak has enough real season experience to know what to expect and how to perform, his quality of snaps this year have been invaluable for this season and the future, and 5- Finally for the fans to put this to rest. Everyone knows a 100% of Romo is our best chance to succeed THIS SEASON, not 5 years from now, not 7 years from now, but this season Romo gives us the best chance to succeed. Now I'm not saying we would not succeed if Dak plays all 16 games and into the playoffs but Romo gives us the best chance to succeed. Romo and this oline and running game is scary

I think for the fans when this debate is over with then we can enjoy the season. Some fans are more invested in their quarterback being the starter than the team doing well. This is one of the best seasons in recent Cowboys' history and the fans are at each other's throats over this debate.

I'm sure Cleveland, Miami, Jets, Bills, 49ers, Bears, Lions, Titans, Tampa Bay, all wish they had we we got going on and we're fighting about it.

Sit back and enjoy it

Exactly, even farve thinks Dak should play as long as he is playing good.
No one changes dice when they are rolling 7's, but jerry might lol.

Cowboys fans have no clue what it's like to win Super Bowls anymore. We're football "institutionalized"

Been in league 14 years, 10 years starter 2 play off wins. Yay!

Actually you Romo haters should be HOPING Romo comes back. If Romo stinks it up, you can say I told you so. I think Dak's emergence has Romo loomking over his shoulder, and even more importantly, management is also looking over his shoulder.

Tomo Romo is really behind the 8 ball in a way. If he were to go to the playoffs and stink it up, or whatever, it gives the Cowboys an excuse to move on and the Dak era would probably be underway, rightly, or wrongly.

The pressure to excel is on Romo. I am expecting to see him at his very best when he comes back. If I were Garrett, I would insist that Romo not come back until he is at 100 percent so there are no excuses for poor play of poor decisions which could cost us a game. That way if Romo succeeds as we all expect, then the coaches' confidence in him is justified. In the event he stinks it up, well, there would be very little room for justifications, because there is an alternative waiting in the wings.

If Dak gets bounced in the first round or doesn't make the playoffs, we will never know what could've happened with Romo playing. Bad logic.

Putting Romo back in is preventative maintenance.

You change your oil on your car even though it has been running great for the last 5000 miles, right?

We are going to get into tougher games late in the season and are going to need Romo's experience and there ARE throws Romo can make that Dak cannot yet. Dak couldn't complete a fade to Bryant a few games ago. That plays has been money for Romo. Just an example. The ability to stretch the field with Romo will take this offense to another level. Mark it down.

Interesting comments from Jean Jacques-Taylor today about the players opinions of the Dak-Romo situation. He interviewed several players, including the team leaders....Witten, Scandrick, Dez, Church, Lee, etc.

To a man, they all said they said Romo is the better QB right now. They pointed out that early in the San Fran game, there were adjustments that Dak couldn't make at the line of scrimmage that Romo could have checked out of quickly. They said that when Bowman got hurt, everything changed.

Understand, they all LOVE what Dak is doing, but they say point blank that Romo gives them the best chance to be a dynamic offense right now. He said even Dak knows and understands this well. He wants to learn from Romo and bends his ear all the time.

Then there's the fans......

They are beginning to change their tune. They love Dak and the way he spreads the ball around. I don't believe for a second that they prefer Romo over Dak. I"m trying to find the video where Dez is asked this very question and he doesn't say he prefers Romo....

I am one of the biggest Romo fans around. Truly. I do not think he has been appreciated nearly enough, and I think he is far better than he has been given credit for. He has literally single handedly carried a ****** Cowboys team for years.

Having said that, he has made some really stupid decisions with the ball at times and been over aggressive subjecting ball security to unnecessary risk. Moreover, there have been times where he could have easily obtained the first down and went deep instead and we were forced to punt as a result. Dak can't do some of the things Romo does. But what he has been better than Romo at doing is protecting the football AND getting first downs instead of going for broke and having to punt.

Romo is more dynamic, but I don't think that has to include the unnecessary risks he has historically taken that have really cost us. I am hoping if Romo returns he has learned something about decision making from Dak. Not all interceptions are created equal. If Romo makes a great throw and our player tips it up for an int, that isn't on Romo. But if Romo throws to Dez in double coverage and gets the pick, that one is on Romo, pure and simple, especially when he has Beasley running free on damn near every play. Forcing the ball to Witten in similar situations is also for the ******* birds.

We have a chance to make a run this year. I don't want to see it get pissed off by anyone. That includes Romo. And if Dez can't figure out he has to hold the ******* ball all the way through the catch, that mother****er needs to move on to another team as well. Quit acting like you don't know what a catch is. Hold it until the play is over and then flip it to the ref.
