Actually you Romo haters should be HOPING Romo comes back. If Romo stinks it up, you can say I told you so. I think Dak's emergence has Romo loomking over his shoulder, and even more importantly, management is also looking over his shoulder.

Tomo Romo is really behind the 8 ball in a way. If he were to go to the playoffs and stink it up, or whatever, it gives the Cowboys an excuse to move on and the Dak era would probably be underway, rightly, or wrongly.

The pressure to excel is on Romo. I am expecting to see him at his very best when he comes back. If I were Garrett, I would insist that Romo not come back until he is at 100 percent so there are no excuses for poor play of poor decisions which could cost us a game. That way if Romo succeeds as we all expect, then the coaches' confidence in him is justified. In the event he stinks it up, well, there would be very little room for justifications, because there is an alternative waiting in the wings.
If Romo stinks it up when he comes back we all lose. We're trying to win a SB, not chase lost youth.

For the life of me I cannot understand why the people who worship Romo have to call names and insult those who are not foaming at the mouth Romo fans.

If we are talking the healthy Romo who can move and avoid tackles, who has a great arm and touch, then there is no question he is the better player and needs to start. And the answer above surely are from players that believe he will be this again.

But just maybe there are some posters here who wonder when the skill set will be eroded by continued injuries.

I posted something in the off season about the day Romo will no longer be the Romo we have come to know and appreciate. That day will come, and it will not come with a two week notice.

Needless to say the usual suspects fly out of the closet and tell me I am a hater for saying that. But do any of you know when he will no longer be the best QB on the team?

Of course not.

But frankly it gets very tiresome seeing posts insulting people as haters and not having any football knowledge when people post something that is not blatantly nugg-hugging Romo.

They are beginning to change their tune. They love Dak and the way he spreads the ball around. I don't believe for a second that they prefer Romo over Dak. I"m trying to find the video where Dez is asked this very question and he doesn't say he prefers Romo....
JJT talked to them yesterday.

They understand the significant part of the offense Romo can run that Dak can't yet.
