If only FLozell doesn't come back I'll be happy....very happy...he's overpaid, overrated, most penalized OL in the NFL history. He has to go!!

he is under rated, and only people with a ridiculous point of view think otherwise.

youre out of your mind. he kills any momentum with his penalties.

remember craytons huge catch? That could have turned things.

One time I accidentally left some steaks on the grill, and they got burned pretty badly.

Charcoal can get deceptively hot.

Alright, I can start now.

Flozell Adams
Proctor

Sensabaugh is only signed for a year, so if we cut Hamlin we could be in big trouble...

Wow, I have seen some ridiculous stuff this past week, probably said a few ridiculous things myself, but this...this is beyond absurd. Spencer is going to be pretty dang good.

Some of the others on your list were questionable as well. Poor list, poor thread....

This is Spencer's year to show what he has, and in the first two games he hasn't taken advantage of getting one-on-one matchups. What have you seen from Spencer to make you think he's going to be "pretty dang good?" Which other players are questionable?

Flozell's still a terrific LT, despite the occasional penalty. I really don't get the dislike for him. Romo has had a clean pocket for the strong majority of '09 and #76 has a lot to do with that.

I'll go with...

Procter
McQuistan
Spears

Not that I think Spears is a bad player... he's not. However, while I understand the difference between 4-3 DEs and 3-4 DEs, I don't think anyone would've been satisfied if we were told Spears would compile just 5.5 sacks in his first 4 seasons.

Yes, I know he doesn't play nickel. And there's a reason for that.

I think we can do better there, and I hope we target an upgrade for 2010.

I'd resign Sensa and sign Dawn Landry or Nick Collins. That area needs help QUICK!. **** Ken Hamlin

Carpenter
Hamlin
Proctor
Newman (not really but still pissed at these two performances)
Brooking
Romo (if he's not going to step it up)

the funny thing is, ya, I remember that one.

What I don't remember the other HUNDREDS of times our qb didn't get killed because flozell is a heck of a player. I don't remember the other times our qb got an extra second to get the throw away either.

get over it, flo is a heck of a player and we are lucky to have him

Just watch and see, at the end of this year you will change your tune on spencer and you'll think, oh wow, utrunner was right....again!...

As for others, flozell is the most questionable. it always separates the ignorant from the wise when flozell comes up. about four years ago, everyone was ragging on flozell, i mean ALL THE TIME. well, several games into the season he was hurt for an extended period of time and what had been a decent oline went to crap. when flozell came back then line was good again. sure flozell has had his problems with penalties, but that has been this WHOLE TEAM in the past several years. As for as left tackles go, he is EASILY top 10 in the league, and arguably top 5. He should be here until he retires.

Others, were questionable, I don't care to argue them because really its probably a push....AND its way to early to even have a vague idea of who to cut. I don't know why i responded to this thread in the first place, waste of time....done till Monday.

I never said Flozell wasn't a good player, but there comes a time where you need to move on with players. Look at organizations like the Patriots and Eagles; they get rid of key players but keep winning somehow. Tra Thomas was a great LT for Philly for a number of years, but you just need to move on at times. The only reason our OL went to shambles after Flo tore his ACL in 2005 is because we had TORRIN TUCKER behind him. There was no depth behind him and the depth is thin behind him now. LT should be our #1 priority in next year's draft. Players like Jake Long and Joe Thomas stepped right in and played at a high level, why can't that happen in Dallas?

I'd say part of the reason is that Dallas has not had picks as high as#1 overall (Jake Long) and #3 overall (Joe Thomas) in some time.

That's probably the main reason right there.

I'd resign Sensabaugh too. Just remember though, this is his contract year and a lot of players play hard for a contract and then play like **** the rest of their careers. I.E. KEN HAMLIN. :bang2: I'd absolutely want Collins but I don't think there's a chance in hell..

So you're saying Flo is one of the main reasons we don't have a top 10 pick and that's one of the main reasons we haven't been able to replace Flo? Feel ya! :D

True but there have been late 1st rounders like Joe Staley who have been pretty reliable as well
