Cowboy players you don't want on the roster for 10' season

As for others, flozell is the most questionable. it always separates the ignorant from the wise when flozell comes up. about four years ago, everyone was ragging on flozell, i mean ALL THE TIME. y.

Four years ago Flo wasn't 34 years old and obviously slowing.

I'm not saying i want him off the team next year, cause I sure as heck don't think we are ready to hand the job to Free, but there better be a big ol LT pretty high up in our draft priorities this offseason.

Wade Phillips - I just don't think these players respect him. They like him but I know they don't fear him.

Ken Hamlin - He just doesn't do anything. I wanted him to workout but every week he disappoints me.

Cory Procter - I'm hoping an up-to-speed Duke Preston ends Procter's tenure sooner than later.

Pat McQuistan - One day he'll be able to tell people he was in the NFL. That day should be tomorrow.

That's it. I see upside or value in every other player, even Flozell. He makes dumb mistakes but he still does an above average job of neutralizing pass rushers.

Well, your wistling in the wind here. I am one of those who never wanted to resign Flo to an extension but we did.

Last year, I wanted to draft Will Beaty.

In 2008 I wanted Ryan Clady or Jeff Otah.

In 2007 I wanted to draft Joe Staley.

In 2006 I wanted Daryn Colledge.

Heck, I've been wanting an LT since about 98 but no joy.

I know it's early but I thought it would be interesting if everyone made their primetime list of players they don't want to see as Cowboys next year:

Bobby Carpenter
Ken Hamlin
Pat McQuistan
Pat Watkins
Flozell Adams (it's time)
Keith Brooking (good player but clearly past his prime)
Cory Proctor
Doug Free (doesn't fit the Cowboys OL, wasted draft pick)
Junior Siavii (can we get a real nose tackle to spell Ratliff, please?)


Honorable mention:

Anthony Spencer (could get labeled the "B" word if he continues his subpar play)

Marcus Spears (he talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk..yes he's a 3-4 DE but he hasn't made a game-changing play since the Chiefs game in 2005.)

Really i thought about trading especially Ware for a long time now. And i think that would be a great idea. I don't think that Ware is that great (or any other player) that he justifies a contract where you could afford 3 or 4 other players that are really good. I think the production you get from a player that maybe has 60% potential of Ware's ist not that big of a difference. But the difference in salary will be hugh.

I'm not going to go as far as you and say trade Ware, but I'd like to see Ware with a ton more pressures.

I personally would take a ton of pressures in a game vs a couple of sacks and a couple of pressures.

The 1st INT Romo threw was from pressure.
If you are consistently in the face or surrounding area of the QB I.E. "Charles Haley" and countless others including the defensive player of the year last year, you will cause QBs to make some bone headed decisions.

Wow, I have seen some ridiculous stuff this past week, probably said a few ridiculous things myself, but this...this is beyond absurd. Spencer is going to be pretty dang good.

Some of the others on your list were questionable as well. Poor list, poor thread....

I dont see any evidence of Spencer becoming a good player...He is right now a subpar player and has showed nothing more then some speed off the edge.. I see no strength, no pass rush moves besides flying by his guy and overshooting the Qb.


He needs to improve to say the least...
