if we don't get bowman, there's something wrong with this organization. Sean Lee, you never know if he's going to be on the field or not, given his injury history. We saw what happened when he went out. Bowman may not be the guy he was, but he's better than what we have aside from Lee.

If the Cowboys are remotely serious about signing Bowman, they'd best abandon their bargain-basement mentality for a change!

It irks me how they've gone from nutty spending habits with Jerry to a penny-pinching one with Stephen around. No happy medium.

Do you think it’s that easy just to “get him”?

First he is going to want to come here. If the 2-3 Cowboys call you or the Patriots or another contender...where would you go? What if he hates the Cowboys? He is from the northeast...maybe he wants to move back to the east coast.

Second the money will have to be right. If he is just looking for one last payday and a team like the Browns offers him a multi year deal with guaranteed money...do you match that?

Lastly, he is going to have to be happy with him role. Jaylon is only 5 games into his career after not playing for almost two years...he needs reps and Hitchens has earned playing time as well.

Something isn’t “wrong” with the organization if we don’t sign him...this isn’t madden, you can’t just sign any player you want.
