Why? Rich powerful people care about staying rich and powerful. Somehow the value of the Cowboys has zero to do with the on field results, at least in terms of W/L.

As long as that $4B becomes $4.2B, all is well in their world. And I suspect you and I would have exactly the same perspective were we in their place.

this is really true.

Is there a more comfortable situation than the Dallas Cowboys? Jerry loves Garrett because he allows Jerry to be Jerry and give away injury reports and say whatever he wants on the radio and after the game. Garrett tolerates it because he knows its not worth the fight with Jerry. Jerry would never fire him nor would stephen, I think Stephen and Garrett have plans to do this together for a long time.

When the offseason came there was some wonder about Marinelli but its not about his defense failing it was about whether or not he wanted to come back.

Everybody here is comfortable. The only coach in this era that has really been held responsible for something was all for show and it was John Garrett because this idea that bennett should have been better. Sadly the only player who has really lost his job has been Romo. Ratliff got kicked out for threatening Jerry and Jerry refused to pay demarcus ware what he was worth so he was cut.

outside of that who is not comfortable here? No players are going to lose their jobs and no coaches will either. 4 years in this defense, which by the way was brought in because it was easy to teach and understand which was supposed to allow the defense to play fast and downhill and not be thinking. Yet 4 years in there are constant mistakes and constant flags lately in the second half.

I still dont understand why we went away from the 3-4 but we are stuck with this nonsense now because changing it when you have all these young players who were brought in to play this scheme would be nuts. The ability for the packers to run on the edge yesterday was a complete joke.

Lot of twitter on this play and that drive - heck that drive was a thing of beauty! Look how much time we ate off the clock, the execution to move the ball all the way down the field and score a TD. We were ahead with a minute left. That's on the defense, period.
