This is what happens when you're scoring points and forcing other teams to be aggressive and when you're not scoring points and allowing the opposing offense to be comfortable.

Look at Dak. When we've been down this year he plays outside himself. See 5 ints (more than all of last year) and no tds tosses thr last 3 games. If we're up is he forcing throws he usually tries to avoid to a fault?

But it's not coaching or FO deficiencies

The holding situation has just become silly at this point . There is something going on here whether fans want to admit it or not. But why haven’t the coaches talked about it openly to put pressure on the league? I don’t get it. There are no balls to this franchise at all. Pathetic

When the team is actually playing competitive football again I'll worry about the officiating.

Romo sat for 3 years before his first start
Dak started day 1
Even then his stats are better

Exactly! Dak haters need to chill right now. Its not the QB that's the issue. Like Kellen Moore or Matt Cassel could come in rookie year and lead cowboys to what Dak did in his first year. They couldn't even do it as vets. Its a coaching issue and its very very obvious to anyone who understands logic and uses basic critical thinking skills. Sure Dak has been underperforming but it's no the underlying cause at all.

Once again everyone....
Dak inherited a much better team, a much qb friendlier team and was asked to do much less.

Can only imagine how Dak would have performed taking over a team mid-season in the stretch of horrible play.

Also let's remember that people were giddy to let Dak start from day 1 and then over a pro bowl qb who was healthy. So these excuses ring hollow.

He has to share in the blame because he hasn't prepared and played well but the majority of the blame should go to coaching and personnel decisions

True but it's coaches who don't give him more to work with and help him adjust. These coaches don't put these kids in positions to win. Garrett philosophy is ultimately the big problem that should change.

How many times are you going to execute ur way to winning with the best talent? Not going to happen in today's NFL. When good players go down your team collapses. Belicheat has the opposite philosophy of JG. That is not so much players or talent but strategy and working with your players strengths no matter who is on the field. Can't stand JG philosophy. It doesn't work. Its outdated. Enough.

Romo had three hall of famers on his team, in their prime. TO, Witten, Ware...not to mention several all pros and pro bowlers—Ratliff, Newman, Flozell, Barber, even Roy before he got fat. this whole ‘Dak has a better team’ narrative is nonsense. There was plenty of talent on Romo’s teams.
