He would have cost $1 million more than the $4 million they threw into the furnace for Nolan Carroll's one game.

Perspective

Carroll was an awful signing, especially as a replacement for the two we let go. I get being done with Claiborne due to injury history and I see why they let him go. He did play better than I expected in NY, I can admit that, but his injury history is what was stopping him from getting a bigger contract. I do agree people seemed to be waiting in the shadows for an injury to pop out and say “see we told you! Jerry knew it!”
