Carroll was an awful signing, especially as a replacement for the two we let go. I get being done with Claiborne due to injury history and I see why they let him go. He did play better than I expected in NY, I can admit that, but his injury history is what was stopping him from getting a bigger contract. I do agree people seemed to be waiting in the shadows for an injury to pop out and say “see we told you! Jerry knew it!”I know they were just waiting for Claiborne to miss a game. Crickets before then because he was actually playing well. Essentially shut down Julio Jones, but nobody wants to hear that.
He would have cost $1 million more than the $4 million they threw into the furnace for Nolan Carroll's one game.
