Vernon and JPP disappeared in that game thanks to outstanding play from our tackles.

JPP and Collins had a nice battle all game. JPP had one of those in reverse where he kind of threw Collins down and got after Dak, but they were each giving it as good as they got.

I think Vernon had the one sack where he grabbed Dak by the shoulder pad. Dak did not have time to step to the side. This was from Morris not doing his job I believe, he overran to the wrong side.
This is why they need DMC in there as backup and not Morris.

But yes, other than that, he was non-existent.

Cole Beasley walked out of training camp his rookie year, intending to leave and not come back because he felt he couldn't hack it.
I don't know about Jerry, he is probably talking about some past business ventures.

They used a 3-man line with Vernon standing up behind the line in the A-gap between Fred and Martin. He then looped around the other side of Martin and back over to Dak.
