Cowboys 0-4 in preseason; are you worried?

The record isn't worrisome in the preseason. It never is. It's how that record came about. I only watched a little bit of the preseason but one thing that is worrisome is 9+ penalties in every game.

That's the really only thing that worried me. That NEEDS to be cleaned up. It's ALWAYS an issue with this team. Drive Killing Penalties.

Not really worried to the record, but worried a bit because we haven't seen the defense healthy and all together playing healthy, in going into the 3rd year now.

I have a friend who will cram that 0-4 preseason curse at me now. Cowboys went 0-4 in 1998, and then went 10-6. Made playoffs. But lot to Cardinals.
But think in 2000, but not sure, also went 0-4 and went 5-11, but those are dark days [3 years] we shove aside. LOL.

But here is how I see it. The Colts also went 0-4 this preseason, so does anyone think they will miss the playoffs. I think some even have them in the SB.

So SB preview Colts / Cowboys...you heard it here 1st. Both throw the curse aside.

I don't expect any better or worse than 8-8 so it's hard to worry. If they started off 0-2 then I'd just get depressed. You can only be surprised about a team you have no expectations for.

If the defensive players weren't hurt I still would be concern about the defense. It's terrible with exception of Lee and Melton.

Such the optimist jazz. I will be rooting for a win every week I hope I am surprised.

No, the preseason record has not shifted my stance on this team.

It's going to be like last year. Shootouts, with the defense having to rely on unknown guys to step up. Just hope they can find another Selvie/hope that guys like Claiborne step up.

We might as well brace ourselves for a rough road ahead. Anytime Jerry warns his fanbase that "our backs are against the wall," you know your in for a rough ride. We'd better watch out for the potholes -- they'll likely be about a foot deep and maybe more.

Heck we could have gone 4-0 in preseason and I would still be worried if all else is equal.

We are a bad team right now. No sugar coating the facts. I am unsure about the Oline, saw some good and bad, but over all I am leaning positive on the O, the D stinks and I just dont know if we can outscore everyone. I think we are going to play a lot of 30+ vs 30+ games scoring wise. Hope we can come out on top in some if not most of those. The D does not give me a good feeling in this regards. Going to be an ugly season I think.

Some of those penalties are bogus. I saw some good plays and still they were called on us. Yet when the other team rapes our wide receivers nothing is called.

I mentioned it before, the refs will be the ones determining who wins or losses. The new rule does not favor the Cowboys.
