I've been saying for a while in various threads that the 12 personnel is working and very hard for the defense to defend. What is particularly good about the Cowboys 12 personnel is that they can run or pass form it equally as well.

If one of the TEs starts out blocking and then releases to an area, chances are that area is open because the WRs and RBs will have already cleared that area out. If the TE releases after two or three seconds, the WRs will already be 15 yards down the field.

I also think play action has been very effective from the 12 personnel.

I don't know for sure but I think teams are taking a big chance by blitzing when the Cowboys are in the 12 personnel.

The 12 personnel will be the base until teams figure out how to stop it.
