Let's be fair in our criticism...who honestly knew that a healthy Jalen Tolbert would total 2 catches for 12 yards on the season when we drafted him.
I easily would have set the over/under at 10.5 catches and at 37.5 yards
Vegas would have made a killing on this...

Maybe I missed something but have we not had Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup all at the same time and did nothing with them?

The QB position is the most mishandled position on this team and it's not even close.

Admitting they missed the obvious? No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Signing a mid tier #2 WR would've made a nice difference. We saw how well an over the hill Hilton made, imagine if we'd have signed or drafted a good route runner.

I didn't think he'd do much.

Dak is turnover prone and injury prone. It doesn’t matter if you have Jerry Rice at Wr when you lead the league in turnovers.

CD was held back behind Cooper. He exploded into one of the best WRs in the game this year. Not sure that would’ve happened with Cooper still here. I don’t think they needed to replace Cooper. They needed to add some quality depth behind CD. They didn’t really have anybody who would even make an NFL roster behind CD.

They will make you forget about the mishandling of the WR position after they mishandle the QB position this year.
How many times do we have to tell you special needs posters. They cannot get out from daks contract until after this next season at the earliest. He will be your qb this season.

This is the Jones talk for "Don't worry we will sign a 7th rounder to replace Amari because we do not want to spend money."

We know this.

They will extend him though and guarantee themselves failure.

That's the only silver lining in all of this. Jerry and Stephen not seeing success because of their dumb decisions.

I dont want them to extend dak either. But they know the cap hit is too high. This all stems from their failure to get a deal done early while under his rookie deal.

Stephen's proclamation of "not doing enough" was putting it mildly. A "monumental error in judgment" would have been far more acceptable.

HE WAS RUN(AMARI). They created a fake narrative that he is a quitter and has shrinkage issues in games. IT WAS A FABRICATION created by the Joneses for their personal reasons.

Cooper does disappear in games. He's done it his entire career. But the good was enough to carry his salary at least another year. Especially when they're plan was to rely on a rehabbing Gallup and Jalen Tolbert.

they took it way 2 far the way they spun it. They created a void on the team that 1 year later, we still haven't fixed.Terrible mismanagement.

Oh definitely. Cooper was more deserving of his salary than the QB and RB. Maybe Lawrence too.

I think this has to do with him not being one of their guys. They didn't draft him. So it's easier for them to move on. It shouldn't be that way but that's how they operate.
