Guess I can end the dream of gettin Shelton Gibson in the 2nd, oh well....for that kinda money its worth bringin him back for the continuity....
Considering Robert Woods signed a 5 year 39 million dollar deal a day ago this is a steal. I do think Williams gave us a big hometown discount to resign with his favorite team. I was ready to lose him to a 7 million a year deal, so this was a nice surprise...
Ya, I postd that with really thinking it through. Not really
If you have a guy worth taking there is always room
I don't think this precludes them from taking a WR in the draft. Butler is only here on a one year deal. I could still see them taking one in the later rounds.
I don't like it because it will lead them away from a WR in the draft if there's value. I'm all for bringing back Williams or Butler but not both. These guys aren't good enough. You're not building anything with them.
Id rather have Williams.This. All. Day.
Woods is a decent #2 WR but not that far ahead of T. Williams. Maybe not even ahead at all.
Look at the huge games he had in the playoffs with Romo.Fact check -Career stats
Year. Games. Rec Yds. TD
2016. 16. 44. 594. 4
2015. 16. 52 840. 3
2014. 16. 37 621. 8
2013. 16. 44. 736. 5
No, he didn't.He had his best season statisticly when Romo was out
I don't know about rnd 1 but depends on who fallsYa, I postd that with really thinking it through.
Doesnt even take it off the table for round 1
Still on the table for round 1 IMO.Taking one in the later rounds isn't what I'm talking about. I mean a high pedigree WR early in the draft.
