Signed by Cowboys Cowboys agree with Terrence Williams

Guess I can end the dream of gettin Shelton Gibson in the 2nd, oh well....for that kinda money its worth bringin him back for the continuity....

Considering Robert Woods signed a 5 year 39 million dollar deal a day ago this is a steal. I do think Williams gave us a big hometown discount to resign with his favorite team. I was ready to lose him to a 7 million a year deal, so this was a nice surprise...

This. All. Day.

Woods is a decent #2 WR but not that far ahead of T. Williams. Maybe not even ahead at all.

Now that's loyalty! T-Will "did right" by the cowboys and took a hometown discount!

I back this move for continuity and that it was a reasonable deal. Welcome back Swag Walk!

I don't think this precludes them from taking a WR in the draft. Butler is only here on a one year deal. I could still see them taking one in the later rounds.

Taking one in the later rounds isn't what I'm talking about. I mean a high pedigree WR early in the draft.

I did not want back BOTH TWill and Butler, keep one and upgrade the other. Oh well, I am pumped for more body catches

I don't like it because it will lead them away from a WR in the draft if there's value. I'm all for bringing back Williams or Butler but not both. These guys aren't good enough. You're not building anything with them.

I'd rather have some speed, and I do believe it will stop them from drafting a WR early.

Hope its front loaded, I do like the deal but I wish we had more speed on offense. TWill doesn't give us that.

Good deal, but as mentioned would like to see us get a speedy guy to stretch the other teams D.

Now we get content, got paid Terrance Williams as opposed to the phenom fighting for a new contract.

Excited.

Id rather have Williams.

Everyone knows Willians can go off for 7-120 any given game. Defenses have to respect him because of that even if game by game he isnt a world beater.

This was nearly what the Commanders paid Pryor for 1 year. Pryor is better than T. Will, but to have him as a #2 for 4 mill a year is a great deal.

Fact check -Career stats

Look at the huge games he had in the playoffs with Romo.

Made big plays. The catch in Seattle. Houston. 2014 was a terrific season considering Dez and Witten, with Beasley, and a tton of Murray carries.

As much as I cursed Williams at the end of Week One, this is a good resigning. For his capability, the price point is very reasonable.

Still on the table for round 1 IMO.

Williams is basically making #3 WR money. Butler and Whitehead can be cut in preseason. You love X WR at 27, you take him move him into Butlers slot, then move Williams into the #4 slot the next year

Have the numbers been confirmed? Some guys says he saw 4/17 and everyone want to believe it. Has it actually been reported? It seems too good to be true this early in free agency.
