I'm all for them removing the part that was actually hit.. which was the logo, not the video board.

We need a good name for this 8th wonder of the world; I refuse to call something so beautiful "the video board". Sounds too ordinary. Jumbotron is an understatement. Jerrytron is stupid.
I'm open for suggestions......

TesticleTron! Love it or hate it, it'll drive you nuts.

Jerry is so funny.

"Chemistry doesn't matter! Nothing in the locker room affects the games!"

*cuts TO, Pacman, and Tank*

The video board is high enough! I'm not moving it!

*gets contractors out first thing Monday morning to raise Jerrytron*

Choco, Jerry clarified months ago that chemistry matters but is not the end all to winning.

There was little financial risk in the Pacman and Tank contract. T.O. was more of a difficult choice and he sunk a lot into him. But at least Jerry listened to the coaches and concluded that it was best for the team that T.O. move on.

It costs a lot of money to move the board besides maybe the league will compensate the Cowboys for specifying the unacceptable height of the board. Maybe the NFL told Jerry yesterday or the day before that moving the board will be inevitable. Maybe what is being reported is to some degree inaccurate. Maybe they are experimenting with how easy it is to move the board anticipating that they will have to.

You know it doesn't bother me if Jerry says one thing and then changes his mind. I know more often than not he sticks with decisions and he gets crticized for that as well. I know most of us have changed our minds on things in our lifetimes.

You seem to want to hammer Jerry any opportunity you get at times. Just recently you alluded to a struggling player being Jerry's choice. But you don't acknowledge some of the recent selections that have panned out or that the scouts and the committee including key coaches have factored in the majority of player selection decisions.

This disdain and bashing of Jerry is getting old. We have made some positive changes this pre-season and hopefully that will translate into succes in the regular season.

You are a Wade Philips fan and I never was myself but I stopped criticizing him early last year. I haven't even written anything biased or derogatory about him. It is a waste of time and I am hopeful he will be successful with this reinforced training and player management approach.

I am highly grateful to be a Dallas Cowboys fan and respect what this organization is striving to do this season. I am also proud of what has been achieved with the construction of this new stadium.

Stumbled across this youtube video claiming they've already begun raising the HD Megatron. IDK if this is old video rehashed or if it's legit.

Thoughts?

That little hydraulic crane isn't moving the video board one single inch. I'm guessing that's a 45-60 ton rig, but I haven't been in the steel business in years. Either way if a crane has tires under it, no way in **** is it moving 600 tons by itself. Crawler only.

The crane is lifting something to the roof of the stadium, that's it.

EDIT, after rewatching the video, it looks more like a 60 ton rig. It's hydraulic which limits it's lift capacity.
