Agreed. If he comes in and is a model teammate, he still has a lot of money to make.It's perfect.. If he wants in the league he will know he has to walk a fine line.
The guy was in the league for so long and we never heard a peep until he told Garrett come get me.. It's been kind of down hill from there for him.
Adding Earl to this team is huge and people thinking a 31 year old HOF safety is washed up is a joke. He's probably got 4 quality years left in him as most guys with his pedigree do.
Ed Reed, a similar player, played well into his 30's and we didn't see a real dip until Houston picked him up at age 35 or 36.
If he comes here and similar happens...he is likely done in the league entirely.
If our S situation wasnt that atrocious, I'd lean toward maybe not, but its gonna get REAL frustrating really quickly back there when we have a team to contend if not for a glaring hole on the last line of defense.
