We're about to witness the a crap show that makes the last 25 years look like the Patriots.

Drunk hillbillies with money can't run football teams.
....... nor can inner net arm chare kwater name......
This is going to be one amusing season. Don't go anywhere and don't you ****** cry about the defense either.
Amusing season?

Isn't that what Jed strives for? It's been 25+years of amusing.

Welcome. New fan are ya?

Think......

You may not be considering the fact that unlike every other QB, Dak wasn't resigned with years left on his deal.
Those discounted years do matter to players. They would to you if you were Dak.
Who decided not to sign him with years left on his deal? Jerry Jones. Go back and read my post. I'm not mad at Dak as much as I am mad at Jerry. I'll say it again. I'm not mad at Dak for getting what he wanted. If you can get, get it. I'm mad that Jerry caved, AGAIN, just like Jerry caved in with Elliot, DLaw, and the rest of the bad contracts he has given. He caves all the time to his players and enables them and that's why we have sucked for 25 years, and we will continue to suck for the next 4 years with Jerry running the show.

It doesn't matter if Dak is talented or not. Aikman was talented, Romo was talented, Dak is talented. And Dak's talent will be wasted here, as usual. Jerry has put together below average teams the last 25 years and Jerry will surround Dak with below average talent and we will suck. Elliott and DLaw and now Dak, the player completely took it to Jerry on the contract issue when I don't see how we are better or worse with them.

I'm all for Dak getting his money, I thought I made that part clear, I'm concerned that Jerry can not grow a spine and make the hard decisions it takes to run a successful franchise. And I'm basing that off of 25 years of Jerry doing it his way.

10th????? The guy is backup material.....and now with a bum leg.....you got Jaylon Smith playing QB. You all assume he is gonna be the old Dak.

You all are gonna be in for a rude awakening....when the bill comes due....and we have no money....and still need a QB.

Says the guy who swore Kellen Moore was the next franchise QB. Nobody has forgotten your nonsense.

No reason for paying him this much but I think they caved to pressure and to the media and the PC culture .
Good for Dak and wish him well , but honestly he is not worth half that contract with his past performances . Heck , who knows how he will play after the injury .
The main issue is the cowboys will not be able to improve a very bad defense . They are stuck with overpaid overrated players who have star and jersey sales value only , including Dak 42 mil , DeMarcus Lawrence ($25 million), Amari Cooper ($20 million), ,Tyron Smith ($14 million) and Elliott ($13.7 million),
How can you fix the team with these figures .
Just because you don't understand any of these players contracts and team options doesnt mean the team doesnt.

This notion that we are screwed and wont have money to spend is just not accurate.

Our problem is more that we won't spend the money even if we had it on certain positions. (Remember Eric Weddle for 5m? Went to 3 probowls after we let him leave without a deal)

I'd settle for mediocre....the next 4 years....we are gonna be the expansion Browns. Get your bags ready.

That's too funny! But sadly it's true. The Browns actually steamrolled Dak.

You do realize the Cowboys haven't won a SB in 25 years right? You are still here like the rest of us....

Yep, which is why I am going to enjoy laughing. I didn’t think Jerry could top the Jason Garrett, 10 year Tom Landry experiment, followed by the benching of Romo with a complete roster, only to see what may go down as the absolute worst decision of GM-ship in history, with a NO TRADE CLAUSE to boot.

So instead of basically these facts, you affirm the truth of them by calling me a ‘stalker’? What does that make you when you are out here liking all these posts from guys who criticize my posts and now want to rub it in my face how Dak got a big contract, meaning make it personal. So with the attitude, do you really think you are fooling anybody?

I mean like bruh, why do you guys take me criticizing Dak so personally? Why do all of you have to act like children? Does it really hurt you that much and then you got to put on this act like it doesn’t?

I mean if it makes you feel better. Congratulations, I was wrong. The Jones are bigger buffoons at being GMs than I thought.

Does this 160 million mean Dak is going to be on the starting team ?

As long as the cap hit stays under 30 every year I’m ok with it. And I wanted a sign and trade.

True, really didn't expect Griffen esp but that's the effort I'm talking about. I'm half ready to hear about how good FA already was though; Dak would've been the top FA, so we signed a top FA (it's how they craft that narrative early which will be telling)...but hope not and hope we're players early bc the window starts now type of thing. Quality over quantity please JJ/SJ.
Yeah, exactly like what Spagnola says. "If he's so good why's he available" lmao. I hate that guy! They do settle for dumpster diving. Hopefully this year that changes.

I hope so. The idea of Jerry completely caving and Dak being completely inflexible makes me sick to my stomach and almost to the point that I hope they don't win another game until the contract is up. But you have a point, Jerry originally wanted 5 year deal and Todd and Tad wanted a four year deal, so if France and Tad counted last year as the first year of the deal then Jerry did get his 5 year deal.
Agree with your analysis of the contract

Now you are pretending like you didn’t read it. I mean does it get any more obvious with guys like you. It’s the same story over and over again. Pretend like they aren’t bothered and then suddenly appear to rub something in your face out of the blue.
