Then your sources are bad. Giants want an inexperienced QB in there. The D is designed to pressure and create turn overs. A rookie is exactly what they want.
Beckham is going to get hit hard and often early in the game and it's going to throw off the timing of the Giants offense. Dallas will dominate the TOP. The score might be close, but watch for Dallas to take the win.
im looking forward to us smashing them and for the pundits to ask if Dak can do it again while more teams have more tape on him. excuses will build.
Don't get me wrong, Dak will make mistakes. He just has the right mentality to make up for them. He's got the same mentality as Romo in many ways. Romo has thrown 5 interceptions in a game and still led his team to victory. I think Dak is capable of similar once he gets some more experience. Dallas will do just fine.
You haven't paid much attention to OBJ since he's gotten into the league have you? He does pretty well against everyone. Sure, a few down games. But for the most part he torches everyone.Beckham is going to get hit hard and often early in the game and it's going to throw off the timing of the Giants offense. Dallas will dominate the TOP. 2 bad games, an average one and one where he torched the Cowboys. Not exactly a big sample size to go by.So, apparently an unnamed Giant fan hasn't paid much attention to games against Dallas. But who counts those?

Unless it's a rookie who can beat the pressure. Or can beat contain and convert with his legs. Or if your defense can't tackle well at the 2nd level in the running game.
I don't believe for a second the average Giants fan is confident about this matchup, with our without Romo. Most Giants fans know better than to overlook this Cowboys team on opening weekend because they're learned their lessons the hard way.

I do not see this at this time, how ever if the Giants OL is as bad as last years I would give our defense a fair chance. If not then Eli WILL carve us a new one. If trading scores is how this game is going I would give the Giants the Win. If the Boys defense can stop Eli a few times (or turn overs) and we own the clock, I have the boys winning. I have the Giants winning this one 24-21.The offense we have is capable of exposing any weakness an NFL defense has, they can run it til you stop it, then burn you through the air, short medium and deep. It's up to the rookie to use his tools, we will see. Defense will hold its own. Call me a homer, but this is as good of an offense in the league, can't think of a better one. We are loaded for bear, giants will find out soon.

Well jday, this is what I think too, and we will find out sunday I guess. So many people are stuck on 2015 and the Romo-less offense, as if there is some rule the Cowboys can't win without him. But if you stop to consider who cycled through in his absence, it shouldn't be that hard to see why they played horrible. Something about Dak suggest to me he is a completely different breed of QB than last year's QB corral and if you watched as the camera panned to Romo after each Dak Touchdown, you might get the impression that Romo think so too.
He saw the end of his career for the first time since starting here. It's a sobering reality that he was served by Dak. I hate it for him considering all that he has done for this franchise...but at the same time, I really am excited at the prospect of the future with Dak. He has that warriors intensity. Not sure how to explain it.. there's just something about Dak's presence that inspires confidence. After Sunday, I suspect the world is going to be talking about Dak and his utter decimation of the Giants.
Of course, be ready for the naysayers...they'll say, "Meh. Just wait until teams have tape on him, he'll come back to earth!". The problem with that statement is there is no amount of preparation and/or film study that will prepare teams for being out-executed by the likes of that offensive line, Dez, Witten and Zeke.
The only problem that I see is that Eli is frequently allowed to cheat and intentionally ground the ball to avoid a sack. It depends on not only the defense, but the refs doing their jobs.

I agree rookie QB and RB makes most defensive coordinators salivate, if the Giants can stop the running game and force Dak to throw long the boys will be in trouble without doubt his accuracy needs to be tested. The Giants have been so lucky to not have a QB injury since getting Eli, hope that continues and you never realize how few backups of quality there are in the NFL. IMO the boys will beat the Giants stacked Dline and it will be a battle royale with both teams exhausted after the game. This running back is special and just needs a small crease and he will be on the safeties in a flash with them having to make a business decision. I also think Dak being able to run will really stress the defense especially with the demands of doubling Dez, leaving Witten and Beasley to do their thing one on one. I do agree with Romo behind center this game tilts in our favor, looking forward to a good game and no injuries.Giants fans were dreading this matchup with Romo in. With Romo out, we are loving this matchup.
Lol right. Donnell? Byron Jones will take care of thatAnd Shepard and Donnell will burn you.
