They will finish 5-11 and pick somewhere b/t #5-#10. Based on what I'm reading, there's not a whole lot of difference in the players picked in that range. What you miss out on the lower you fall is the opportunity to trade back with a team desperate for a QB.
Yes, and if you can't improve your team with the 5-10th pick, you probably screwed up the draft. Players can fail of course, for reasons other than being overrated, like Morris Claiborne and his injury issues, but generally you should get good production out of a top10 pick...
