We can’t burn up anymore than we already are. Light it up LMAO.And what happens if he lights it up?
We don’t have enough issues, we want to complicate things more. Bye-bye, don’t want him. Good luck.lol why not
He's a hit away from his leg coming off. Dude.took a beating in ny.Bring him in and turn him into Taysom Hill
I would and would be worth every penny to watch him get a worthless win vs the Giants... would be epic in this washed year.Bring him in and turn him into Taysom Hill
This. We have 4 QB's that suck...one of them being gone for the year.We have enough suckage at QB already. Don't need more.
Never talk to that person againTried telling someone that and they act like they never saw us do this
Yup, dumb John Mara.....he should have pitched Daniel Jones to Jerry for a pick instead of releasing him.if he doesnt cost us a 4th or earlier Jerry doesnt see the "Risk Reward" factor needed to do this...lol
You’ll get over it. 1st or 2nd chair in the band?Yeah I don't think so. Show me any correlation between a team picking top 5 and winning championships. Carolina, NY, Cleveland, etc draft high regularly and dont turn it around. Meanwhile KC/SF draft high year after year and continue to go to superbowls. Seeing this team win a couple games while players like Overshown, Guyton, Beebe, etc improve and become legitimate NFL caliber starters wouldnt be the worst thing to happen to this team.
The last time the Cowboys picked top 5 they wasted their first two picks on a RB at #4 and a LB who was damaged goods. Counting on Jerry to trade back just because he is picking high is a bad bet. Honestly a top pick Jerry probably uses on either another RB or Sanders.
Ultimately wins and losses dont mean much of anything rest of season. The most important piece that can happen right now is player development from the last couple of draft classes. Thats the only chance this team has at being competitive in 2025.
Feel free to continue to insult my knowledge of the game and call me a participation trophy fan, but honestly I have zero respect for your narrow minded opinions.
The Giants, who are one of the worst teams in the NFL, just cut him. Bringing him in, in no way improves this team. Is he better than Rush? Sure, but that's really not saying much. Is he so much better that he would help us win games. No. Is it really help for us at this point to win games? Probably not. In addition, he would have to learn the offense, that would take at least a few weeks. So we are looking at probably week 15-16 at the earliest that he could reasonable start and even that is a stretch. He would have no chemistry with any of the players. There is just no real reason to sign Jones, at least for this season.
Now, if he wants to sign a multi-year deal to be a backup for next season and on? I think that would be great...It might cause a bit of a QB controversy at times. But I think he'd rather take his chances somewhere where he'd have a better chance of having a starting position, like Oakland, than signing here under those circumstances.
