If postseason success doesn't matter then why is this here? :igglestrophy:

Of course winning in the regular season is more fun than losing - that's hardly a revelation. But I don't recall much celebration of 13-3 after Green Bay eliminated the Cowboys from the playoffs.

Whoever suggested that postseason success doesn't matter? That would be beyond stupid. Whats the point of the above statement? (the one now in bold)


And of course you don't recall much celebration of 13-3 after we got bounced from the playoffs, but the same can be said for 31 teams, every year.

Like Roy, you're missing the point of my post you quoted.

I'm sorry but most of those other 31 teams didn't have a chance at a SB. To have the best record and lose in the first round again is very disturbing. Then again we should be used to this sort of thing. I don't think it stung as much as those 8-8 seasons when we loss the division to our division rivals on the final day of the season. That was painful.
