Well the Draft runs thru Dallas! 10 picks and the event in Dallas. Who needs a super bowl when we got this!
Let's check that out to see if it's true.
2011
1(9) Tyron Smith T USC
2(40) Bruce Carter LB North Carolina
3(71) DeMarco Murray RB Oklahoma
4(110) David Arkin G Missouri St.
5(143) Josh Thomas CB Buffalo
6(176) Dwayne Harris WR East Carolina
7(220) Shaun Chapas FB Georgia
7(252) Bill Nagy G Wisconsin
Two studs in Smith and Murray and not much else. They whiffed on their 2nd round pick and on day 3 of the draft they completely struck out minus a decent return man.
-
2013
1(31) Travis Frederick C Wisconsin
2(47) Gavin Escobar TE San Diego St.
3(74) Terrance Williams WR Baylor
3(80) J.J. Wilcox S Georgia Southern
4(114) B.W. Webb CB William &Mary
5(151) Joseph Randle RB Oklahoma St.
6(185) Devonte Holloman LB South Carolina
Frederick speaks for itself. Williams is an okay 2/3 in the league. Wilcox never developed. Another whiff 2nd round pick and nothing on day 3.

2014
1(16) Zack Martin G Notre Dame
2(34) DeMarcus Lawrence DE Boise St.
4(119) Anthony Hitchens LB Iowa
5(146) Devin Street WR Pittsburgh
7(231) Ben Gardner DE Stanford
7(238) Will Smith LB Texas Tech
7(248) Ahmad Dixon S Baylor
7(251) Ken Bishop DT Northern Illinois
7(254) Terrance Mitchell CB Oregon
Martin's an All Pro. Lawrence has 1 great year out of 4. Hitchens is just a guy and the only other player worth anything in that group turned into a player for the Chiefs.

2016
1(4) Ezekiel Elliott RB Ohio St.
2(34) Jaylon Smith LB Notre Dame
3(67) Maliek Collins DT Nebraska
4(101) Charles Tapper DE Oklahoma
4(135) Rayne Prescott QB Mississippi St.
6(189) Anthony Brown CB Purdue
6(212) Kavon Frazier S Central Michigan
6(216) Darrius Jackson RB Eastern Michigan
6(217) Rico Gathers PF Baylor
Everybody's OMG epic class that took a giant step back in year 2. There's no denying Zeke. He's a generational talent. Prescott's flaws and lack of skill were exposed. Collins and Brown regressed. Smith is still in a brace and a fraction of the player he was in college. Rico's making records. Tapper's in hospice. Hey, you got a nice special teams ace and box safety in the 6th round. The reports of this class' greatness have been greatly exaggerated.
The Cowboys have drafted well lately if, and only if, you want to believe that. If you really look at it objectively it simply is not the case.
It rationally means we get players that contribute in rounds 4-7
Dak is above average QB--despite what you think.
Brown is a very nice 3rd corner.
Frazier is pushing his way into PT
Rico might have something
Swaim has been plug and play contributor
Switz was on all-pro as return specialist and is just warming up
Let's check that out to see if it's true.

Calais Campbell I’d assumeWho did Arizona lose to get the top pick?
lol
Compare those years to the Eagles and Patriots drafts
lol What does that have to do with what you said? lol
The Cowboys don’t draft in a vacuum. If you want to truly assess the quality of their drafts, you have to compare them against the rest of the league.
Let's check that out to see if it's true.

I didn't realize the Eagles and Patriots are the rest of the league.
What other excuses do you have?
Bro are those guys any good. Just messing w ya. I see some 2-3 functional guys and our qbSince Will McClay things have been different.
Here the talent landed these guys in the 4th-7th rounds past 3 years:
Ryan Switzer
Xavier Woods
Noah Brown
Dak Prescott
Anthony Brown
Kavon Frazier
Rico Gathers
Geoff Swaim
not mentioned enoughThat Paea signing really screwed us
I love it the weak pop gun mimic routines I'll laugh in their face. All the fans at the draft get 4 extra chances to cheer.
Meanwhile, after Drew Pearson last year, every single Eagles player/representative on that stage is going to rub our faces in it.
Every. Single. One.
