Cowboys back in playoff hunt?

I don't think it will happen if Dallas somehow ends up 9-8. 10-7 might not even get it done unless a lot of teams collapse down the stretch.

The big hope is the NFC West only sends one team to the postseason, but the North is likely sending three (Lions, Vikings, Packers). Not a lot of wiggle room left.

But that’s basically a true statement . If we won the next 4 games we would be in the playoff hunt .

Anyone usually hovering around .500 is not officially eliminated until last couple weeks.

I agree. North is getting 3 in. But the last spot is looking like around .500. Wash at 7-5 is in a skid losing 3 straight games. I definitely like some of the teams in West hovering around .500 better.

True. An improbable late season run would really make this season an interesting story. But the Bengals and Eagles games worry me.

What you thought were winnable games, I didn't. We've only beaten teams with questionable QBs. Watson, Jones, Fields, and lucky to beat Washington. Three of which I do not believe start for their teams anymore. Tampa and Cinci are going to move the ball. We also would never lose by only 3 points to KC, so I don't know what to think about Carolina.

I agree but the point remains we could be favorites in all 3 of the home games which by definition would be considered winnable despite whatever we think. At Carolina they could be slight favorites.

Bottomline is Sundays win presented this very unlikely scenario. Something most didn’t fathom going into Wash as 10 1/2 point underdogs.

It’s yet to be seen if it’s a fluke or a beginning of a run.

Actually, when you look at the schedules and look at the Cowboys getting players back. The Cowboys will be in the race with a win over the tanking Giants.

Possibly true but winning one potential game can't promise real playoff contention.

There'll be many others standing in the way of such success. We will see, though.

We enjoyed lots of great breaks paving our way in that game versus Washington.

That’s what I read this morning. 3 of our next 4 games we will be favored to win. And the only road game is at Carolina.

Wouldn’t that be something however unlikely it appears now. That’s what winning a game does for you. Amazing for a team that didn’t look like it could win a game rest of season.

Opposite schedule of Washington. Ours was one of the hardest to start the season, theirs was one of the softest. Now it flips.

Pay no mind to my seemingly combative responses. This season has put me in a bad mood.

I don't know that we'll be favored in all 3 games. We haven't exactly been unbeatable at home. Plus Vegas chooses lines based on where they think the money is going, not who's better. I'd be willing to bet that the Cowboys have the most playoff losses as the favorite than any other team in the league.
