You make BS points with all due respect because you claim people think Rush is better than Dak or Dalton was better than Dak while ignoring the fact many said it's about Dak pressing instead of playing within the system that was successful for him in 2016 and is successful for Rush in 2022. Most fans know Dak is a better QB than Rush in terms of physical abilities but there is no denying that Dak has been in his head and it has shown on the field. If Dak comes back and plays like Rush in terms of reading the field and not pressing then the offense will improve. The question is and will be can Dak allow himself to play within the system and not try and BE the system.
You are being sensible but there are idiots on this site who aren’t. I’m literally arguing with someone right now on this site that Rush is the next Brady….now I know he’s a little slow but this is what we are dealing with.

I think a bit of trust in this staff goes a long way concerning how they are handling the Dak Rush thing. Lets just give MM a chance here. Maybe Dak plays Sunday...MAYBE he's the emergency QB behind Rush. I think the latter is very likely. MM is handling this brilliantly...he is making them prepare for both QB's. Never telegraph your moves to the enemy before you absolutely have to reveal them. Especially in a division tilt. Lastly, keep in mind Mike McCarthy specializes in the QB and knowing how to prepare them. Correct me if I am wrong, wasn't he on the staff in San Fran when he had Steve and Joe? Just sayin.

The game plan likely changed to be even more conservative after jumping out to the quick lead from the defense. I don't understand why people are clamoring to get back to Dak-ball and throwing it 30+ times a game when the same people have been yelling about leaning on the run game for years, because deep down they know he's an average bus driver. Yeah he's put up some pretty stats but what has it gotten us? The number 1 offense? And what else?

In 2021 Dallas lost 5 games that Dak started which saw Dak throw a total of 225 attempts for an average of 45 attempts/game.

In 2021 Dallas won 11 games that Dak started which saw Dak throw a total of 371 attempts for an average of 33 attempts/game.

In 2021 EVERY Dak led Dallas victory saw Dallas exceed 100 yards rushing. In 2021 EVERY Dak led Dallas loss saw Dallas fail to exceed 100 yards rushing.

Moral of the story: rush the damn ball and stop making it the Dak "Air" Prescott show.

Last weeks 105 yards passing was an anomaly. The game plan wasn’t going to produce much more with just 16 attempts. If Gallup and Lamb don’t drop 2 of those passes in their hands, the numbers become 12-16 for about 145 yards or way more if Gallup was able to get to a wide open end zone

but the point is that the in game situation called for just 16 attempts. Belichick has done exactly this several times before and even less attempts in certain situations.

there is a vast difference from the Bucs game where the ball was thrown 29 times by Dak and it yielded just 134 yards. Those attempts should have yielded well over 200 yards but only 14 were completed out of the 29.

again, as I’ve opined, I hope that neither one of these guys are starting as the Qb for the Cowboys in 2023. There ARE ways to get great quarterbacks….ask the Browns who are sacrificing short term sacrifice for long term gain with the massage boi.

agree, its very basic. This game is still about running the ball and dictating terms. If u can dictate using the run, the air yards will come off of that. That has always been how the winning teams WIN. The anomaly is the Chiefs and Mahomes. THAT isn't the norm, its the exception.
