I dunno Stache. Sounds like a lotta work. I'm kinda a man of leisure. I'll just hang out for a while and see what the other guys have to say.

I have opinions but it's really late and I might have cancer so screw it.

- If we get injuries, absolutely.

- Sell. I wouldn’t say Dak is 100% Mr.Reliable. But, unless you’re Mahomes, a great winning formula is running the ball and playing good defense.

- Sell. I’d give them one more year and way too soon to give up on Tolbert.

- Buy. Tyron will get hurt eventually forcing Tyler to LT.

- Buy. LVE is the Terence Steele of the defense. Under appreciated and the team takes a step back when he’s out.

- Sell. Just not enough snaps. Tank, Micah, Armstrong and Fowler.
Agree with every comment.
Tolbert- a 4thRd receiver which we liked enough to reach from a small school needs time to adapt.
LVE - if kept 'clean' provides stability at MLB around which the playmakers can perform.

1. Sell. Being better at running the ball helps any QB and every defense. 2014 was the best this team looked since the 90’s. They were a run first team. That BTW scored almost 30ppg.

2. Buy/sell. KJ has to go JT gets one more year

3. Buy. He can play at least as well as McGovern. Solid starter

4. Sell. Not close

5. Buy. Big year coming for Sam

Pt 4 had to add an unnecessary comparison to Sean Lee just to make it a discussion...the comparison doesn't matter, LVE is important to this Defense as he's our only true run stopping MLB around which the rest of the Corp and Nickel can play off.

1. Sell, but I do wonder if the Zeke situation has made the front office wonder if they are overvaluing Dak the same way. For instance, I’m not that stoked about deuce Vaughn because Daks accuracy is….yikes sometimes

2. Buy on Joseph, sell on Tolbert

3. No idea. Short term sell. It’ll be Tyler smith….until Tyron gets hurt

4. Unfortunately buy. LVE is NOT Lee, but we literally don’t have another thumper unless the LSU kid takes a big step

5. Buy. I love Sam Williams and think he will take a leap this year.

Let's play their game of buy or sell. I'll post the statements they make in the video and you tell me if you buy or sell it.

One note: At 7:10 of the video Jane says T.Y. Hilton wants to return to Dallas.

On to the buy or sell....

1) When Mike McCarthy says he wants to run the ball more and wants their identity to be defense he's actually saying he doesn't trust Dak Prescott.

2) Jalen Tolbert and Kelvin Joseph should both be on the bubble heading into training camp.

3) Barring injury Chuma Edoga will be the starting LG in week 1.

4) The defense needs Leighton Vander Esch just as much as it used to need Sean Lee.

5) Sam Williams will have more sacks in 2023 than DeMarcus Lawrence.

1. A harsh description, but there’s some evidence to support it.

2. Definitely. Time for the young guys to show what they belong. Or not.

3. No way. Chaz Green II. If he’s starting, this team has issues.

4. It sure looked that way last year. But k hope another option shows up. Not because I dislike LVE, but due to concerns about his health.

5. I sure hope so. I’d like to see Williams take that big step forward in year two.

As for TY Hilton? Heck yea! Sign him up! He was solid despite a very late arrival and I think he could be better getting here earlier. He’s certainly better than our options after the top two or three.

1) When Mike McCarthy says he wants to run the ball more and wants their identity to be defense he's actually saying he doesn't trust Dak Prescott.
SELL, Mike is not saying he doesn't trust Dak. But he does want a more controlled offense, and establish that with a stronger run game. All teams would like this if they can.

2) Jalen Tolbert and Kelvin Joseph should both be on the bubble heading into training camp.
SELL on Tolbert, I think he gets opportunities to prove himself improved.
BUY on Joseph, this is his last chance to step up.

3) Barring injury Chuma Edoga will be the starting LG in week 1.
BUY, however it depends upon when Steele can return. If not ready by week one, then BUY, if ready then SELL.

4) The defense needs Leighton Vander Esch just as much as it used to need Sean Lee.
SELL, LVE can contribute, but have not seen the defense rely upon him solely to make it go as it did with Lee. Mostly because the defense has much better players now, than when Lee was playing.

5) Sam Williams will have more sacks in 2023 than DeMarcus Lawrence.
SELL, as depends upon playing time. Williams used in a rotation much more the DLaw. So until that changes, SELL.

1 sell, running the ball has more to do with smart football than any lack of trust in Dak
2 sell, too soon to give up on tolbert
3.sell, barring injury Chuma will not be starting anywhere
4. But, he’s not the player Lee was but he’s better than some fans think
5. That’s a tough one. I don’t see him getting enough snaps but I do think his impact will be much more. For the snaps he had last year he was really impactful.

1) When Mike McCarthy says he wants to run the ball more and wants their identity to be defense he's actually saying he doesn't trust Dak Prescott.

Buy. None of the other explanations add up. Whether he’s actually right or not is beside the point. You only play not to lose when you think your players can get you beat.

2) Jalen Tolbert and Kelvin Joseph should both be on the bubble heading into training camp.

Sell. Tolbert gets another year by default.

3) Barring injury Chuma Edoga will be the starting LG in week 1.

Buy. We saw what they did with wide receiver week one last year. What are the odds that Tyron makes it out of training camp in tact? They’re roll with Edoga just to say I told you so.

4) The defense needs Leighton Vander Esch just as much as it used to need Sean Lee.

Sell. The issue is that they currently only have one starting linebacker on the roster, not that the one they have is irreplaceable.

5) Sam Williams will have more sacks in 2023 than DeMarcus Lawrence.

Buy. Age is not on DLaw’s side.

I'll say it for him - I don't trust Dak. He led the league in picks in his 7th season, stunk in the divisional round (again), and has 2 wild card wins in 7 seasons.

I'd love to see the Cowboys win another SB, but as my eventual mortality inches ever closer I'm kind of done with making excuses for players who fall short.
Chuma will be the starting guard? Wow, what a horror show. No way can this team be a contender with Chuma at guard.

How does the oline get worse and we go farther?

MM won't put the whole thing on Dak, he can't carry the team in the playoffs against a top ranked defense.

We need to run the ball and be the #1 defense

On to the buy or sell....

1) When Mike McCarthy says he wants to run the ball more and wants their identity to be defense he's actually saying he doesn't trust Dak Prescott.
SELL in 2022 the Falcons led the NFL in rushing attemts per gae at 32.88. The Cowboys were 5th at 31.24...... by more does he mean 31.27? No way we rush any MORE in 2023. I BUY that he wants the identity to be the defense... which coach wouldnt want a top defense??

2) Jalen Tolbert and Kelvin Joseph should both be on the bubble heading into training camp.
SELL Decent draft capita was spent on these guys and they are on their first deal... so you lose little by keeping them. IMO, I cut Tolberts arse if he didnt impress in training camp. It is inexcusable for a 3rd rd pick to not even be dressed on game days.

3) Barring injury Chuma Edoga will be the starting LG in week 1.
SELL it says barring injury.... so if everyone is healthy, Tyron is starting, and Steele will be starting IMO. Could players rotate? sure

4) The defense needs Leighton Vander Esch just as much as it used to need Sean Lee.
BUY Look, we need Vander Esch to have a good year, but when Sean Lee was out, our defense was in shambles stopping the run. We have way more talent on defense now, that no way in hell is he as valuable to this defense as Lee was to the defense at the end of his days.

5) Sam Williams will have more sacks in 2023 than DeMarcus Lawrence.
BUY Tough to predict, but he showed signs of being really good last year. He could explode this year with the attention given others that I could see him with 8-10 sacks this year. I can not see Lawrence doing that. I thought Lawrence played pretty good last year and he had 6 sacks. So yes, Im buying this. I would also be surprised if Lawrence was healthy the entire season.
