1) When Mike McCarthy says he wants to run the ball more and wants their identity to be defense he's actually saying he doesn't trust Dak Prescott.
Sell. My experience with McCarthy is he's a finger pointer. He takes no accountability and he does not have a true football identity, both in leadership style and offensive playcalling.
2) Jalen Tolbert and Kelvin Joseph should both be on the bubble heading into training camp.
Stay. Joseph yes, Tolbert no.

3) Barring injury Chuma Edoga will be the starting LG in week 1.
Sell. I know they have liked him for some time but signing him to a 1-year deal makes me think they have their doubts.

4) The defense needs Leighton Vander Esch just as much as it used to need Sean Lee.
Buy. They play better when he is playing well. Sean Lee was always good for a key turnover. LVE is more steady. Like Lee, LVE does a great job calling plays and reading offenses.
5) Sam Williams will have more sacks in 2023 than DeMarcus Lawrence.
Sell. I would have bought before the "Parsons moving to DE fulltime" news broke.

One note: At 7:10 of the video Jane says T.Y. Hilton wants to return to Dallas.

On to the buy or sell....

I was wondering about TY just last week.

1) Buy. However you slice & dice it, it's about letting the rest of the team carry the load & set up easier passing opportunities.

2) Sell & Buy. Tolbert is probably safe unless he shows no sign of improvement. Joseph should have considered himself on the bubble the moment the season ended.

3) Buy. I think they would be happy if he won the job. I would prefer to grow Tyler at LT so I have to hope he or someone does prove themself at LG.

4) SELL. LVE played better down the stretch but for the most part has been an average to below average player. He should be on the list to upgrade \ move on from at the earliest opportunity.

5) Buy. If this defense as a whole is better than last year (which it would seem to be), there should be opportunities for dynamic playmakers to register stats.

Let's play their game of buy or sell. I'll post the statements they make in the video and you tell me if you buy or sell it.

1. Buy-Dallas is a much better team with a balanced run game taking pressure off of Dak to be the man…team did this with Cooper Rush last year with great success.
2. Sell-Jalen Tolbert I think got injured in camp and wasn’t healthy his rookie year; I think he gets the benefit of the doubt this season
Buy-Kelvin Joseph has been a bust of a 2nd round pick; lacks maturity, and discipline to play at this level; cannot keep premium draft pick as strictly a special teams player
3. Sell-Let’s wait until the start of the season to pencil in anybody as a starter in the o-line with the exception of Martin and Tyler Smith; clearly need to field the best-five with the fifth player not necessarily on the roster yet.
4. Sell-while LVE had a resurgent season, I don’t think he impacts a defense like Lee did in his prime; Lee was a baller in my opinion, like having a coach on the field
5. Sell- Williams has definitely had some highlights (and lowlights) during the season; I think he has talent, but not nearly enough playing time to replace Lawrence, who is being paid a few bucks; besides DE is a crowded position right now.
