I don't want them to overuse Morris.

7 - 10 tops per game.

Old running back legs tire quicker during the season.

We stick to our own? Is Jackson not a player we drafted therefore making him our own

Yes, but they've stuck with Dunbar this long, and he's played what 4 games? Every time JG or Jerry talk about him they gush like he's Bryan Westbrook or something. Just going by what I hear!

They love Dunbar so I can't see him going anywhere. Regardless if the others are better. We stick to our own....

That's conceivable and also conceivable that McFadden could be odd man out. There'll be plenty of stiff competition for sure. It's nothing new that there's lots of talk being bandied about concerning McF not being well suited to our zone blocking scheme. It appears the staff and FO are likely to have their work cut out for them when the final cuts come due. It's safe to say there'll probably be plenty of tougher problems to deal with, though.

Dunbar is unreliable ,i really hope they cut him.I would have never have brought him back after the ridiculous Kick return from 9 yards deep in the end zone which got him injured.

I think this is the best RB situation I have seen in awhile. I'm looking forward to watching this o-line and RB beat down defenses. Man this is gonna be great.

Running backs has an easier transition to the pros then any other position. Jackson could unseat McFadden and Dunbar and up to this point we haven't had anybody that could do the things Dunbar can do. Jackson is a bigger, stronger, faster and healthier Dunbar. I think they will move on especially if Dunbar can't get healthy

Darius Jackson is not that good. He better be able to play special teams bc that's the only time he will see the field. Period. People on this board acted the same way about Synjyn Days last offseason. That lasted about 2 weeks.

That's hyperbole. They were hyped on Day and he had no glowing reports in training camp and was subsequently cut. Jackson has been playing well and all reports confirm that

Get rid of McFadden because Jackson is doing well against a banged up defense in practice. Sheez.

No, get rid of McFadden because he don't do well in this blocking scheme , he is injury prone, he is older and he might have a little trade value. That is the reasons to say bye.

Romo is injury prone too. Cut him also.

The question is can dunbar be converted to a poor man's Tavon Austin, more slot back player that sort of does it all, a little rb, a little wr, a little st

6'1" & 220 lbs. Runs a 4.35 behind this line. You don't know what he can do but he has size and speed, you can't teach that.

Word is Alfred Morris looks faster and did some great work on the goal line drills. Great pickup for the Cowboys. Might be one of the best underrated signings. Hope he gets his carries.

The way the Cowboys managed the RBs is the opposite of how they addressed the qb group

We're always a year late. Next year we will get the quarterback issue straightened out.

well I really really liked what I saw from Dunbar last year before he got hurt, not from his running game because I was never impressed with that, but his receiving game. I seen so so little from him before last year to stand up for him right now so it would be a whole lot easier if we had not seen his ball catching & run after catch that he put on display last year.

Remember when we turned down a draft day trade for McFadden? Would love to trade him for some LB or DL depth.
