so what? if he went to the patriots they might make him a player, let's see what campo does with him.
Campo did alright with Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick, no?

Just quit now while you're behind. You're on the verge of being lapped.

Now I wish we had DeAngelo Hall and DeAngelo Williams.....cause then we could corner the market on DeAngelos....with Smith and Willingham.

UPDATE: Cowboys claim DB DeAngelo Willingham, sign Jeremy Haynes

With a need for defensive backs, the Cowboys made a waiver-wire claim, picking up cornerback/safety DeAngelo Willingham from Tampa Bay and signing cornerback Jeremy Haynes, who had spent time with Tennessee this training camp.

The Cowboys had some interest in Willingham entering the draft. He played safety and cornerback at Tennessee. In 26 games in two years with the Vols he had 80 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass deflections.

Haynes, 5-10, 185, spent his first two years at McNeese State as a wide receiver before moving to the secondary. As a senior he had 44 tackles and three interceptions.

The roster is at 78, leaving the Cowboys with three more roster moves to make by Tuesday.

I live in Tampa and he's been mentioned a lot by the local media that attends camp. They all say he sucks and should be cut. Now he has been. Keep in mind the guy contributing to this decision (Raheem Morris) was his freekin position coach last year.

He's fodder, as others have suggested, for this week's game. If he makes the team I'll be dissapointed.

Considering we're down Mike Hamlin (for six weeks) and Alan Ball (at least this week), these moves make sense.

These guys are competing with Patrick Watkins, Mike Mickens and Courtney Ball for roster spots, so they've got to feel pretty good about being picked up by Dallas.

At this point, if Willingham can just give us what Watkins provides (minus the penalties) on special teams, I'd prefer to keep the young guy with potential over the older one with none.

This is embarrassing that we are going to this extreme to find a DeAngelo that can beat Buehler in a race.

 Nice signing Cowboys. Starting CB in the SB last year Rod Hood just chillen there waiting to be swooped...but no we'll go with some googler that will be on the streets next week.

I don't see any other team jumping at him atm, this is simply for the Minn game with the injuries we have. Why was Hood cut anyways?

He was released today I believe so I actually don't think we'll know by tommorrow. I'm curious to know why the Browns cut him though. 27 year old solid CB that started last year in the SB.

we didn't have enought healthy players to not play starters against the vikings so we picked some up, these guys can't be very good if they didn't even make it to final cuts on their old teams.

The myth about not tackling in practice will prevent injuries has been well and truly busted this year
