Played for Ohio State and got kicked off the team. Was 6-3 231 while playing for them, but not sure what he is now. He's a bruiser who was good at special teams and returned kicks. Didn't do much in the running game.

Ohio State Overview
Rod Smith is a fifth-year senior who has more games played, carries, yards and rushing touchdowns than any back on the Ohio State roster ... a powerful and bruising running back, he enters his senior season having played in 33 games ... stats include 448 yards rushing off 83 carries with four touchdowns and a fine 5.4 yards per carry average ... he didn't lose a yard rushing until his 76th rushing attempt from scrimmage (a loss of five yards vs. Penn State last year), and the play remains his only attempt for lost yardage ... as a receiver, Smith has eight career receptions for 86 yards and one touchdown ... majoring in African-American studies.

He's 6'3?

According to what I could find, he's 6'3",235 lb. Spent five years at Ohio State and wasn't used all that much. I don't know why they claimed him...he may have ST value...just not sure.

Relax people.
Remember anyone can run behind this line. Haha..

I guess we need some more players to deactivate week after week playing RB.
