DTs
Dontari Poe: 346lbs
Gerald McCoy: 300lbs
Antaun Woods: 318lbs
Trysten Hill: 308lbs
Covington: 305lbs

DEs Tank: 265lbs
Randy Gregory: 255lbs
Armstrong: 255lbs
Crawford(?): 290lbs

Do the Cowboys have enough beef to convert to a 3-4?

Neither Covington nor Woods are currently on the roster, I believe

To be honest, I was pretty straightforward. There have been hundreds (probably an understatement) of 'injury prone players should automatically not be acquired or allowed to play yada yada yada' posts and threads made on Cowboyszone over the years. Some conclusions relevant to the player discussed. Most not. I find it funny how erratically the assumed reasoning is applied or not applied from player to player, year after year.

We must have been impressed with how well Carolina did in stopping the run last year! #32 overall led by Poe and McCoy!!!!
That's not the whole picture. Carolina switched to a 3-4 last season, and had horrible gap integrity. Giving up the most long yardage plays of any team. Even Kuechly had a bad year. I think those two will find comfort with 90/94 by their side.

Living in NC and seeing there games each week, you nailed it.

I knew what you meant. I also knew you realized immediately that more than one person thought you believed we shouldn't even entertain the thought of signing an allegedly "injury prone" player. You just wanted to mess with them.

He was overrated in the draft, has he been relevant any time in the last few years? Asking because I haven't heard much positive about him.
