I doubt all the runs went by the NT, could be outside , or not the NT responsibility.

this true and not true, even if it not A gap to A gap runs, a NT like Snacks can make plays from the A gap to the b gaps. POE doesn't. excel in that he's more of the anchor and going forward type.

What did he play then? Not arguing with you, but I didnt watch enough Carolina games last year to really know.

He played 1T when in a 4 man and DE in 3-4 for the most part. Although 1T is the “space eating” version of a 4-3, it’s not your typical 3-4 NT.

I graded (RSF) Poe and McCoy as the top two run defenders in the league last year and the only other player remotely comparable was Maurice Canady.

Do you ever tire of being facetious? Just a question, not a criticism...

According to the numbers Cavanaugh posted, of the 400ish snaps..230 were in a 4 man front..either playing L or D DT...he had significantly less snaps lined up as a true nose tackle in a 3 man front...

Which would be nickel passing situations when they had extra dbs and less lbs.

Do the Cowboys have enough beef to convert to a 3-4?

3-4 is useless with this roster, need to keep 4-3 and flex 3-4 in few series.
