Tyler Lockett's market value is 7.7 million. I wonder if the Cowboys will go after him?

Take your pick 9 plus starters:

10 Luther Burden 6.47
16 Matthew Golden 6.42
19 Tetairoa McMillan 6.4
31 Emeka Egbuka 6.37
45 Jack Bech 6.34
55 Jalen Royals 6.31
56 Jayden Higgins 6.31
60 Isaiah Bond 6.3
61 Tre Harris 6.3

Have you broken down Golden yet? He would fit perfectly with CeeDee and Kupp I believe.
I’d take Egbuka over every WR in the draft, with Golden my #2. I don’t want another big guy unless he runs and proves he has a little speed (McMillan). Egbuka is the best route runner in the draft, has some speed, separates, catches everything, and has proven himself in multiple years at Ohio State.

Give me TMac, Golden or Egbuka all day.

Prefer a trade down for Golden or Egbuka, but that might be tough to do this draft.

Someone may want to move up if a QB is there they like or even an offensive lineman or edge rusher.

Since Kupp's asking price is $14 million, it's safe to assume the C'boys won't be interested. He'd likely be expected by Jerry & Son to cut that in half, which makes his signing extremely doubtful. It looks like the draft will probably be our friend in that respect.

  • The longer it goes I think our chances are better to sign!
Was about to say this too. Plus, I don't think signing him precludes us from drafting a top flight receiver to develop. I like the tcu receiver Jack Bech. He's a cooper Kupp clone. He can learn playing with him.

Anyway it's interesting and the Cowboys could come in late and put in a high bid. I wonder why the Saints would pay him when they don't have the cap space?
My hunch is exactly this. And if we do this I think he can be had for about 11-12 mil and we can make it a 2 year deal with year two being a team option. Back load it with incentives. It would be a cheap low risk deal. Put an injury clause in there that limits all guaranteed money. Then still draft a wr.

He's not getting that anywhere. Longer this drags out the price comes down.

Dallas needs a burner on the outside. Someone that can demand attention and stretch the D. He needs to compliment Lamb who is really a shifty slot guy. Turpin has speed but he is a gadget guy that’s too small to hold up at WR.

They MUST get speed.
