One word REFRESHING!It's not that hard to see........
The message is pretty clear......both need to step up as TEAM leaders, not just offense and defense.

I don't know why people are upset or bothered by this. I don't know if it will work and while I wasn't a fan of the hire at least Shotty is trying to stray away from the norm. It's not that hard to see........

Typical responses from the usual people, especially when it comes to Dak. Business as usual in Cowboys Zone.I don't know why people are upset or bothered by this. I don't know if it will work and while I wasn't a fan of the hire at least Shotty is trying to stray away from the norm.
Yeah most of them are. The same people who disappear after a win.Typical responses from the usual people, especially when it comes to Dak. Business as usual in Cowboys Zone.
I hope Parsons beats the snot outta Dak next time Dak pulls one of those choke jobs.Well, isn’t that the point, the players don’t care
And why would Prescott suffer in silence,
We make up these things in our mind,
But they’re so irrelevant
You wish. No one on the team will ever get mad or beat Dak up, don't you remember he bought all of them little bicycles? That's a leader right there.I hope Parsons beats the snot outta Dak next time Dak pulls one of those choke jobs.
It's also to have Micah around Dak to keep him competitive and accountable and also to have Dak around Micah for theoretically the same thing.Hmm…surprised it took this long.
You see this type of arrangement in many facets of your day to day. Last I saw it was at a business luncheon. One table in the room was angled 90 degrees in relation to all the others and was filled by power-players. We only need look in one direction to see who our leaders are and seeing your leaders together provides a sense of comfort.
Meant to demonstrate order and stability to the rest of the room. Let’s everyone feel as if the ship isn’t aimlessly navigating without a rudder. Also, this puts the onus on Dak and Micah to dutifully fill the role they have been given.
Humans generally like to proclaim, “No one tells me what to do” yet at our basis we look for direction and leaders and thrive in environments when those things are clearly defined.
I don’t know if the Cowboys staff was insightful enough to think this thru or if they landed here by dumb luck. Regardless, it’s a subtle move but a good one.
You mean Panama City 2I hope Parsons beats the snot outta Dak next time Dak pulls one of those choke jobs.
The status quo which you’re whining about hasn’t worked so why not try something new?Is this locker move going to help Micah to stop getting dear in headlights in big games as well? Correction.... is this locker move going to help Michah to stop disappearing in big games?
Apologies for getting their big game flaws mixed up.
That’s why Shotty is putting him next to Dak so Dak’s leadership will maybe rub off on him. This is all so confusing.
According to so many sycophan,,,,,,,, er I mean fans and "media", Dak's leadership intangibles are off the charts and have been since he danced into the building with his still warm masters degree in Workforce Leadership under his arm nine years ago.
Yet all this talk and action to improve the culture.
I hear that on the fuse part, man if it's a bad performance by Dak I can see Micah being mad, but on the other foot, i'm not sure how much Dak would call them out or how his demeanor would be to the media. He'd probably say the typical thing "we need to play better, I need to be better!" Even though in that game the offense kept us in itInteresting. Stationing both players side-by-side in the locker room is symbolic. Their teammates will feed off the energy, positive or negative, generated by both players inside the locker room. How it will benefit or take away teammates' perception of their mutual on-the-field leadership will be worth watching.
The tactic could work. It also carries the potential of blowing up in Brian Schottenheimer's face. On the sheer symbolism high side, the artificially enforced partnership could end up *looking like* Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones hugging-and-mugging with the Lombardi Trophy after Super Bowl XXVIII.
On the symbolism low side, the effort might devolve into a contentious Buddy Ryan/Kevin Gilbride slugfest. Football is a highly emotional sport. Players have egos. One particular bad game could set a fuse that ends up rippling negative vibes throughout the roster--simply due to the artificially created proximity between players, who are the leaders of two separate units.
better beware of Dak's brother, he's a bad mother>>>>> lolWait till a disgruntled Micah unloads posts game and Dak has to suffer in silence.
we'll never know, they'll down play the story saying "oh no it's just 2 competitive guys, we're brothers!"Maybe when the defense is tired of being on the field because of daks turnovers some crap may get interesting in the locker room
Micah after a loss: "We did our share, that's all what I got to say as a leader."better beware of Dak's brother, he's a bad mother>>>>> lol
I fear no man ... except CeeDee's mama.better beware of Dak's brother, he's a bad mother>>>>> lol
Wha???That’s why Shotty is putting him next to Dak so Dak’s leadership will maybe rub off on him.
Stop the run and contain Lamb. Take that away and the offense is pretty much done.Opponents literally game plan towards Dak.
"Stop the run and make Dak beat you" is the game plan for 100% of the teams we play.
