I think any team thay has to worry about whom they play or where or when probably is not a serious contender for the Super Bowl, anyway.

I will reserve judgement on this bunch until after I see what they do in late November and December. Their late season record hasn't been very good the past 12 years or so but Jerry flushed the toilet this off-season and there is hope that this year might be different. We'll see.

Miami and Washington are the only teams besides us who regularly wear white at home.

The Dullphins are all over the place with unis. Sometimes they wear white, other times they wear the aqua, other times they even wear orange.

As if they was still any doubt what attracts big ratings. We were humiliated in the final week yet still sit atop in in PT games in '09.

Dallas Cowboys. Loved by millions. Hated by billions. :starspin:bow:

This is a pretty dang brutal schedule. That December/January schedule is going to be just absolutely nuts.

If we can come out of this schedule with a 11-5 record I'll be so thrilled I'll probably piss myself.

Just as a contrast, did anyone see the Titans' finishing schedule? Four of the last six at home, and their last month is STL, MIA, and SD all at home, then on the road at SEA.

Are you kidding me? What a difference.

Well, you know, it was a one in 724,000,000,000th chance that Tennessee would've been blessed with that kind of scheduling. :D (see my "Making The Schedule" thread ;) )

Obviously, at first glance, the ending to the schedule looks brutal. It's easy to forecast an extension of our ever-growing late-season slide.

With that said, I always cringe when too much is read into the "difficult" schedule stuff. There are those pining for Kansas City in December, but what if they're this year's Dolphins? KC's a tough place to win in when they're good. And a team like San Diego could be on the downslide, the Saints could be playing without Drew Brees, etc.

Besides, if we're good enough, a "hard" schedule can be made to look easy. They were about a possession away in each December loss last year from having a terrific finish to the month. We didn't fail in that goal because we played good teams. We failed because we weren't good enough. Bottom line.

December will be conquered when and if this team is good enough. I don't recall ever cowering to the competition in the 1990s, for instance, and pining for easy late-season games.

Gawd, no doubt! Why can't we ever get a game like the Seahawks or Chiefs in the last month?

it doesnt matter.......remember when we hosted the lowly Lions in the last game a few years ago and all they did was bend us over and make us their female dog....

how about when we lost to the crappy skins....got the living crap beat out of us.

lately it doesnt matter if the team is good or bad, we still cant beat em come December
