I dont think he will accept a minor role with Dallas?

I like the youth movement we have going on here. I'm excited about Brandon Williams coming back off of injury next year along with Victor Butler.

I hate to stymie my talented young players' growth when I think we have a few good ones.

He left Miami because of playing time and its Anthony Spencers time to shine in this league anyways so its just not a good fit.

Especially with Victor B getting another year and Brandon Williams getting his shot next year.

A lot of people have forgot about Williams but our coaches seemed to really think a lot of him before he got hurt.

There's no way I see Porter coming to Dallas.

We have our starters at OLB, and we're developing depth with V Butler and B Williams.

Porter would get even fewer snaps with Dallas than with Miami.

:signmast:

Spencer > Porter and Ware is the either the best, or second best LB in the league depending on where you rank Patrick Willis.

probably wont have a need for porter, especially considering the fact that we are going to land Peppers.:D

Ware too

who knows something about playing OLB

Why would we want a 4-3 DE.

me too. remember?

Brandon Williams>Victor "slow-mo" Butler:laugh2:

Worst idea ever.

We barely have room for any OLBs right now... And especially not for ancient headcases like Porter.

With Butler, B-Will, and CuJo backing up our starters, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't even draft an OLB this year. If we do, it will be someone so good at our pick that we simply can't turn him down.

Why would we pay big salary for a player we dont even need?

We are extremely fortunate to have Anthony Spencer and we would be dumb to put an ageing vet in front of him.

you must be kidding..the guy is one of the best athletes in the entire NFL..no question he can play outside backer

Butler >>>>> Spencer

you'll see ;)
no way, man. Spencer has insane athletic ability and I believe he's just getting started.

this argument actually has tons of validity to it...give me peppers anyways and figure out a way to have all 3 of them on the field..

calm down, Tony Ravioli:laugh2:

I'm just poking fun at myself for earlier, suggesting that Butler is better.

and who would he start over.

that is where the problem lies..I dont argue that one bit..I was being a tad bit facetious with my comments, however, I wouldn't be upset in the least bit if we landed peppers and made it work out..surely someone can figure out a way to have all 3 (peppers, ware, and spencer) on the field at the same time..
