Cowboys could easily be 4-0 headed to SF on SNF

One game at a time. No matter what the record is, if we lose to San Fran again it will mean we will never win another game again here.

I’m focused on the jets currently. Will be harder than many think.
If we lose to SF it just means we can’t up our expectations anymore than we’ve done last couple seasons.

These next 3 games look like a very good possibility . With Rodgers out now I definitely like our chances at home.

Going to Arizona next week against one of the worst teams in NFL should be a blowout.

And then Patriots at home. They are probably like Jets at no more than a .500 team.

Our heads will be so big after the Giants win that we're thinking Super Bowl already. Jets are thinking Cinderella.

I will take it one game at a time.
Enjoying our win and will continue to do so until KO on Sunday.
Of course but it’s fun to speculate. i was really concerned about Rodgers coming in here. Now we can take a breath of relief. And certainly look ahead.

We shouldn’t be thinking SB until we can beat top teams like SF and Phi.

4-0 would be great unless it’s followed by 4-1. I had us as 4-2 going into bye. Now I can see a real possibility of beating that.

We should be 4-0 when we play SF, no excuses. On paper, we are better than the Jets, Cardinals, and Patriots. If we lose any of these games it won't be because of the D. So the offense better bring their big boys pants and stop making excuses.

That’s part of being a critic and sensing the situation. I’ve always maintained my optimistic outlook was derived from evidence which is based on recent history and trends.

Note I didn’t say we’d beat SF. That still needs to be proven before I can raise my expectations more.
I read between your lines and saw 50-0 blowout guaranteed. You are feeling it.

I said this when the schedule came out. The media will have a field day if both teams are undefeated.
You were more optimistic than I. I was thinking more like 3-1. Mostly I was thinking 4-2 at the Bye.

I maintained I needed to see some evidence before I raised my expectations.

So, coupled without our opening performance and Rodgers out as these first two games were of more concern than our next 2 is what I’m raising my expectations going into week 5.

And we’ll see how that goes before increasing or lowering my expectations again. I’m all about current history and recent trends.

If you don’t think the Jets and the Patriots can beat the Cowboys, you don’t know the NFL. They have two defenses that will give us problems.

I’m not really interested into what players think or do. I seriously doubt I’d have any more influence with my diatribe than I have over our ownership this era. Lol
You're right Gregg

Plus, players only follow social media posts, if they aren't busy playing video games and clubbing....they don't care about "sports news" or what fans say in a message board Say

If the defense plays like it did against the Giants, who can beat them? I'm really liking the defense, and I think the offense will be fine as long as #4 stays in his lane.
This! Exactly

The Cowboys in 1978 opened up the season 38-0 over Colts. 1995 we opened up 35-0 over Giants.

We of course both seasons were already proven SB contenders based on our recent history. And we know how those seasons ended.

im always into historical comparisons. And why until we can beat the Elite teams I won’t be pronouncing this team as SB contenders.

But we certainly are off to the kind of start coupled with opposing team circumstances and schedule places us in a more heightened situation where we can begin to speculate pending further results of course.

I don’t recall saying they couldn’t beat us. As a matter of fact in one post even stated on any given Sunday still applies.

But that said doesn’t mean we can’t do some speculation now that we have some more results and circumstances.

I think if you’d of told us we’d beat NY 40-0 and Rodgers would be out that most of us would have raised our expectations over beating AZ and NE as well. Note I still left open whether we’d be up for beating SF which will be an early test for the potential of this Team.

The Cowboys can win every game on their schedule but can also lose to teams like Washington, Patriots, and the Jets. I could see them losing to the Patriots then beating San Francisco. It’s one game at a time.

I mean if they aren’t 4-0 or 3-1 I’d say we have a problem. They are better than all of those teams.
