It’s rotational like everything else . We are playing second place team from AFC West this year.

We played 1st place Cinn from AFC North last year. Guess which AFC division we’ll play next year in 2024 for 17th game?

I would have liked to see Rodgers against this defense . But we won’t face an Elite QB for quite awhile . Week 6

As always it’s based on recent history and current trends.

The fact Rodgers went down changed it for this weeks game .

And our first performance changed it for the next two games .

But as I stated it’s subject to change after week 5 in SF.

If we lose to SF it just means we can’t up our expectations anymore than we’ve done last couple seasons.

Not for me. It’ll depend how the game goes…but if we beat them I won’t automatically think we are better than them either. We could lose another hard fought game and then be better because of it down the road.

No game in the nfl is a gimme. But I can see the Niners and us both being 4-0 going into that game. Even if we win the media will not care as it’s during the season and not in the playoffs.

I wouldn't blame them. The niners have knocked us out in back to back years by physically dominating us. Regular season football is not the same as playoff football.

Yeah it would be nice to beat them. But it still would not make me feel better about playing them in the playoffs if it comes down to that
