We need a starting DE, starting 1T, and backups at 3T and DE still, IMO.

I wonder just for a just incase measures do we still draft a 3 Tech but I highly doubt donald last to our pick but we may go with Timmy Jernigan but big question is if Jernigan, dee ford and anthony barr are there starring you in the face and nobody wants to trade down to your slot who do you pick and why?

In order of my preference:

Barr
Jernigan
Ford

I think Jernigan would be a great pick at 16 and I would actually consider trading up to land Barr. Ford is a trade down prospect in my eyes.

Jernigan because He would provide an instant presence beside Melton and Crawford can rotate inside and out. Selvie is solid outside and both Barr and Ford are too small to start at DE. They may grow into it but they can't start there yet.

I don't think you can add Crawford to the good list yet. Was a potential guy to begin with. Now has the huge injury...we just have no idea if he will pan out or not...

Adding Melton now gives us the opportunity to explore trading back if the right situation presents itself. I'm good with going Ealy, Jernigan, Hageman, or Zach Martin but not at 16. Give me another pick like last year so I have an opportunity to try and get another quality player.

I agree; the only reason I do so is because I was really high on him in the draft. Wishful thinking, I suppose.

Even with Melton, I think we still have too. The only concession I would make is maybe a linebacker or safety in rnd 3. Our first 2 picks need to be dline. Need matching BPA
