certainly this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, I long expected this team to go with only two quarterbacks on their 53 man roster this year....
I actually think that it will be Vaughan - I don't think that they want to kiss off a year of prior development invested in him.
Well it looks like they will both be invited to the PS.
And good teams cut their losses all the time. I just don't see "it" with Vaughn. But wouldn't mind him coming back to the PS. Just glad he didn't make the 53.
Didn't we lose to Colt McCoy last year?
That game cost us home field advantage in the playoffs.
Our QB situation is really becoming a concern. You have a last legs Romo and literally nothing in the pipeline for life after him. Not even a decent vet to get you through a handful of games because of injury.
This has to be high on the needs list next offseason.
Can we just clone Romo and have him as QB#1, 2 and 3?
Pretty good for a 7th round pick to make the 53.................congrats to the former Longhorn!!!
I guess the punt returner job is his to lose at this point? I wonder how much leeway they'll give him with ball security issues. It'll be interesting to see if he pans out for us.
Yes. He looks like he could have a future with continued development.
Limited roster spots on both sides OG the ball--in this case they must see more future value in Swaim vs Vaughn
They've been drafting really well lately.
