Bottom line is that we need 2 starters on the DL that are difference makers and can win 1 on 1 consistently

The current assembly of the little sisters if the poor won't cut it

Same on safety. Find someone who can actually play and understand the game at a high level. We dont have anyone like that right now

What's it going to be then, eh?

Hello, Alexander. I am awaiting your response about the elite talent at safety on the Chicago Bears team. All the talent at DL would be welcomed as well.

Love,
G
I did not answer you mainly because it was a stupid question that indicated you did not even adequately read and process what I posted:

All of his defenses not in Tampa Bay have been talent poor in two key areas.

The DL and at safety.

Where you somehow got I said he had elite talent at safety in Chicago, I have no idea.

Eventually, people will understand he is not a genius. He needs elite talent in both of those areas.

So, which is it? The DL wasn't "poor" in Chicago, but the safety play wasn't elite, and he definitely didn't need them to be one of the best defenses in the NFL.

It's okay if you completely forgot about his Chicago years. If it makes you feel any better, so did KJJ.

You need one and preferably two DE/pass rushers. You need pressure and push up and middle. You can get that with one good DT. Obviously 4 pass rushers who are disruptive make for a great DL.

We have some solid players if we can tie them up with a bow.

Put at least one edge rusher with those guys and you MIGHT have a good enough rush. Put two on the team and you might have 40+ sacks.

I'm counting on Lawrence to be a solid outside force. He still has room to reach his level of 'future' play. I like the kid and his ability to deal with Pro offensive linemen, will get above the previous level against a Green Bay holding but solid left tackle.

Mayowa and Irving will be strong rotational players this upcoming player. There are still some unknown in injured ends such as Tanner. But bring on a strong end in free agency, and this group takes a further step
