Cowboys' Dak Prescott 'Slim Reaper' Weight-Loss Truth Revealed By Insider

Going back 8 years to "prove" he can't read defenses was a choice lol
I mean I can go back to the Packers game in his “MVP” season where he was throwing right to defenders trying to force it up Lamb. Or when he ducked against Wentz to miss out on the playoffs and so on..

Oh, so you mean he had trouble reading defenses in specific games. Since there's no way any qb would be in "MVP" consideration if they couldn't read defenses in general.

Notice how there's never any quantifiable statistics that ever go with this oft repeated platitude.

Like:

I ran my fastest ever 100 yard dash at 11.5 seconds.
Or, I deadlifted 600lbs, which is 30lbs more that my previous maximum.
Or, I ran 15 miles at a six mile per hour pace without having to stop, longer than I had ever done before.

It's just: "I'm in the bEsT sHApE oF mY LIfe" and you'll just have to believe me.

"may be in the best shape of his life"

Best shape of his life as he continues to recover from hamstring injury.

Makes sense.
If I had a nickel for everytime an athlete said they are in the best shape of their life…
lmao...here comes "the best shape of his life" again. Maybe someday he will get it right. Pour some honey on him!
Yall can't be talking about when Dak said, "best shape in my life" that one time years ago and hasn't said it since? Can't be...

In this article the author Nathan Karseno said it, not Dak.

Dak Prescott may be in the best shape of his life as he continues to recover from last season's hamstring injury. But our Mike Fisher finds the truth behind the weight-loss rumors.

FRISCO - The injury recovery for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott continues to move in the right direction as we near training camp.

After suffering a torn hamstring in Week 8 of the 2024 season, the former All-Pro QB has taken his rehab very seriously.

But an internet troll has spread the word that Dak has lost 30 pounds. And now a teammate is piggybacking on that with an obvious joke ... that Dak's has lost weight to the tune of losing 50 pounds.

His recovery from his hamstring-torn-off-the-bone injury is crucial as he enters Year 10 with the Cowboys. He is 31 years old and won't be getting any younger ... so his health and fitness is key.

And he's getting healthy. And he's already fit. "Fit'' at 226 ... pretty much like always.

I remember reading this about Zeke every season only to watch him run slower than the years before.

In Dak's case, I don't know that this matters unless it helps him avoid the pass rush better, or maybe run for some first downs. To me, Dak's problems have been in his head, not with his body.

When he plays smarter he is a good QB. When he plays dumb or panicked, he is an awful QB.

For $60 million this guy should be in the best shape of his life every day of every season he plays, and even then he is not worth his contract.
